EDITED REVIEW: I believe my first review of this mat wasn't clear enough, so I've edited it to make sure it is - I have no doubt this mat is as totally bomb as all the reviews on and off Amazon say it is. I wouldn't know, though, because I ignored the specs/care sheet wrapped around the mat that lauded the awesomeness that is a yoga mat made of TPE, but warned to keep it away from extreme heat. That's right, I left it in my black car, in the Nevada sun and warped the snot out if it.I figured there must be other super clever folks like me this review could benefit. Folks who read Amazon reviews, but not the care sheet! Or even the question and answer section above where a woman mentioned hers melted in her car the CA sun!So, as soon as I get my ducats together, I'll be picking up another one of these mats, and using the warped one as a bolster and knee pad. And I'll never leave them in the hot car, again!

I love this mat so much. I'm in college and i needed one more unit so i took a beginner yoga class, i bought this mat after looking through probably 50 others, i don't know why, I just felt like i needed the most perfect mat lol even though i haven't had any experience with others.One day in class, we needed to find a partner and there were moments when we needed to use each others mats. When i used hers, it felt super thin, like i could feel the floor underneath (maybe some people like that, i guess i don't) and when we had to do Ardha Chandrasana, it was hurting my fingers, so i just was curious what brand she was using, i looked and it was one of the most expensive ones i remember seeing online!!! now maybe i was just doing the pose wrong haha but all i know is when i use my mat to do that pose, my fingers never hurt, so that moment was when i decided i needed to go online and leave a review... I love my mat! It's seriously perfect and the blue is really a beautiful color!*my only two cons:-i wish they had some more designs to choose from-one time in the class so far, i was super hot and it felt like my hands were slipping a little, but that only happened once. And i had looked at the other mats this brand is selling and i noticed they actually sell a no slip mat too, which if i get super into yoga, i will look into buying.But for now, my mat fits my needs perfectly, and i love that it came with the little Velcro strap and the carrier, i'm pretty hesitant about buying any other mats at this point.. So thank you!!!

After using my Mother-in-law's yoga mat for the last year, I felt it was time to buy my own yoga mat. After doing some research, I decided to purchase the Heath Yoga non slip mat. I purchased this mat for 3 reasons: 1) Price, 2) Cushioning and 3) Non-slip surface. The Heathyoga mat delivered on all three points, although the non-slip part seemed to be in jeopardy.The customer-service rep responded to me quickly and was very helpful. They told that the new mats were coated with a resin that made their mats slippery with sweat. Their instructions were as follws:* Wash your mat down with a soft brush and a non-oil based soap or heavily diluted vinegar (1:30) with warm water then rinse off. I usually do this in the shower if I can't do it outside. Repeat if necessary.* Hang dry outside in the sun if possible. DO NOT PUT IN WASHER or DRYER. The sun will help dry up the resins in your mat* Hang dry over shower rod if you can't dry outside. Make sure mat is completely dry before using.After following their instructions, I decided to test my new mat in a yoga flow class. The yoga instructor suggested that students use a blanket for extra cushion for their knees, but the Heathyoga provided my with plenty of cushioning. Then came the moment of truth: would the Heathyoga mat live up to its claims of non-slippage?Halfway through the class, sweat was pouring off of my body onto the mat where I placed my hands. I was afraid that I would end up skidding off of the mat and falling on my face, but true to their non-slip claim, I stuck to their mat like Spider-Man stick to walls!I am very pleased with my Heatyoga Mat and would gladly recommend it to any practicing yogi

This is a brilliant yoga mat . You can tell Heathyoga put a lot of energy and care into creating this product, and I liked the advisory email I received telling me all about how best to store and clean it. It's thick enough to do prolonged yin practise poses with comfort and has excellent grip even in the hottest bikram class. Was also looking at much more expensive ($70+ ) yoga mats and so glad i went with this one . The alignment guide on the mat is really helpful to make sure you get the most out of your postures by correctly aligning yourself . The mat has a rubbery smell when first unpacked but the manufacturer included a little note to assure you that the smell is just a byproduct of the manufacturing process and that the smell will dissipate within a few days , and it did. The mat is a little wider then normal yoga mats (+ about 2" either side ) which makes practice much more comfortable . It comes with a strap to keep the mat rolled and a clever piece of chord that you can loop around both ends for hands free carrying when running to your yoga class.I recommend this to everyone, you will never want to go back to a regular yoga mat.

Very impressed! I was a little hesitant at first due to the cost - but it has proven to be an excellent investment. I've had this mat for about 3 months now and have been doing a very intensive boot camp type of exercise routine roughly 4 times a week. To date, this mat has not even given the slightest hint of wear and tear. My previous cheap mat didn't even last 2 weeks before bits of rubber started coming off due to repetitive movements in the same spot. Not an issue at all for this mat... I saw another review mention the smell - it lasted a day or so and was not offensive - just one of those 'new rubber / new car' type smells. Would highly recommend this product to anyone considering it.

This is my 6th mat since I started practicing yoga about 2 years ago. OMG! the grip is the best. No slipping or moving around during class. The lining on the mat is very helpful for the appropriate stance for many poses. I love this mat!!!1 year and 2 months later:Mat is now starting to slip due to the constant rubbing where the hands and feet are placed. Once I start to sweat then I have to get off the mat and practice on the floor. I was expecting it to last a bit longer than a year. Reduced rating from a 5 star to 4 and i believe I'm being generous. Ordered another mat today.

So glad I purchased this mat...i purchased it as a treat to myself...it is so comfy, it's nice a big and the markings on top are super cool for making sure you're aligned properly...the bottom of the mad is super grippy so no slip-sliding around and the colour ways are really cool...I chose the purple with light pink underneath. The mat also comes with a carry strap which I didn't know about and a strap to put around it when it's rolled up. I had read the reviews before purchasing and some people had said that it smelt when unwrapped, and does smell...it's not horrible you can just tell it's a new product that's been wrapped in plastic. I aired the mat over night and the smell was gone ready for my Pilates class the next day! I really recommend this mat.

A really thick, sturdy yoga mat, with very quick delivery. This is a quality mat, and I am very pleased with it. The smell that people have commented on disappeared within a couple of days. It feels very thick, and almost luxurious to lie on. The lines help with positioning, though they could be improved with diagonal ones to help with Warrior One. The mat has a really good 'grip', absolutely no risk of slippage, to the extent that it sometimes feels as if it is 'catching' my foot as I bring it forward or take it back, if my foot is not lifted high enough or it is a dragging or sliding move. After about three weeks it still curls up at the ends, so I currently store it rolled the wrong way out to try to correct this.

Really like this mat. Thicker and longer which is just what I was looking for in my next mat. I'm 5'9" and finally feel like I am fully on the mat where I lie down. It is a good grip, but I do still slip a little bit if I'm sweaty... Nothing like previous mats I've had, though.I wasn't bothered by the initial smell people have mentioned. It's like when you get new sneakers, but a bit stronger. And it fades pretty quickly. Nothing to get worked up about, unless you're particularly sensitive to that kind of smell.

I've been using this for about 6 months and I'm really happy with it. It's comfortable and very non-slip even when sweaty. The roll up and carry straps are handy and the markings on the mat are really useful for checking alignment in poses. Would highly recommend.

Purchased on recommendation from a friend. Great quality mat with handy strap included. Great for me as I do across yoga so the extra thickness is essential. Works well for my regular yoga sessions too. Only downside is that is has quite a strong smell when it arrives, but it fades eventually. Lovely mat!

Really pleased with this mat a good thickness and no slipping when doing Pilates and yoga , when using it in class I need no extra cushioning and the length is absolutely spot the initial smell fades away after a few uses I will buying another for my daughter who also is very impressed with it . Easily portable and lightweight however I will have to buy a waterproof cover soon as I walk to all my classes.

Product arrived on time and in good condition. Have used it at one yoga class so far. Like the long length and found the alignment indicators very useful. Best mat I've tried re grip. Also thick and comfortable to use yet not clumsy to carry. Not sure how to use the cord included.

I bought this mat based on the great reviews, however it doesn’t match my expectations given the price. On the plus side, it is lightweight, the colour is nice and has a good grip to the floor. The lines are also really useful to help position your feet and hands in downward facing dog. Unfortunately, the smell really bothers me when I have my face on the mat (child’s pose for example), even though it spent a day and night flat on the floor. Also, i find it unsuitable for hot yoga: the mat gets really slippery and makes loud squishy noises every time I move, which is particularly annoying for me and the people next to me. I would say the mat is ok-ish for yoga, but definitely not for hot yoga.

Esterilla antideslizante total! Con marcas para realizar correctamente las asanas. Se desenrrolla y pega rápidamente al suelo, sin quedarse viciada ni medio enrrollada. Tengo varias esterillas y esta es sin duda la mejor. Fácil de limpiar y guardar, lleva un cinturón de velcro para cerrarla bien y una cinta para su transporte. La recomiendo 100%.

Non sono un esperto di tappetini ma dopo averne visualizzati tanti ho dato fiducia a questo ed al momento sono contento della scelta.Misura esattamente 6mm di spessore, 64,5cm di larghezza e 182cm di lunghezza.Tappetino di un bel colore verde, comprende un laccetto in tinta per il trasporto ed una chiusura in velcro per tenerlo fermo una volta arrotolato.Non puzza di chimico ed é soffice al tatto, isola bene dal suolo.Si stende bene per terra e, utilizzato su pavimento in piastrelle non si sposta. Non si scivola facendo vari semplici esercizi.Si tratta di un prodotto fabbricato in modo ecologico, limitando al massimo l'impatto ambientale e questo é sicuramente un punto da tenere in considerazione per chi fa yoga e non solo yoga!

Not too impressed to be honest. I am not a fan of the way this yoga mat feels, it just is an uncomfortable feeling on your skin. It also marks very easily. I have bought two of these yoga mats and both of the colours look very different in reality, a lot duller. I feel Heathyoga should put in their descriptions and the photographs are studio photographs and may appear DULLER in real life. The positive parts are the length, it is a great size and the markings, that's a really handy tool, but I don't feel it is worth the money, I prefer the more rubbery textures as I believe they feel more supportive.

This was very thick but had obviously been stored for a long time and as such it was literally 2 weeks before this lay flat on the floor and didn't look like a mad foam banana. This is a beautiful yoga mat which was delivered very quickly. It is a more expensive mat than the one I have had for many years as it was a present for my husband and it is a little pricier than I would normally go for, so figured the quality would be far better. The alignment feature very useful, and the mat is lovely and thick, however the grip seems very poor. I'm sorry to say that something about the material just doesn't work as well as our cheap standard yoga mats! My husband has found that his hands slide when he is in downward facing dog, and I have tried it with the same result. I'd love to give the mat a higher rating as it looks lovely, but for us it just hasn't been practical or worth the cost. I'm hoping with time this will change and the mat needs to be worn in!?
