I was happy with the Spinosaurus that Papo originally released you know the one that was in Jurassic Park 3. With the long hind legs But then I saw a documentary. Of how they found the most accurate skeleton of Spinosaurus and it actually had short hind legs. Ever since then I wished that Papo would release a Spinosaurus figurine. That would more accurately depict what it looked like. And this one is simply amazing. A very well sculpted Statue. I love how Dynamic the pose is. It looks good from every angle. Even underneath on the belly. I noticed how much detail was put into the scales. The scales are unique everywhere You look on this figure. Even the attention to detail that they put inside of the mouth. On the paws of the hands and feet and even the folds and Contours of the skin. This sculpt is probably the best that papo has ever done. And I really look forward to seeing what they will do in the future. The paint job is outstandingly good. And I hope that they keep up the fine quality. They have definitely earned my five star review.

This is the toy that made me a Papo fan. The textures and details on the scutes, tail, head, teeth are very well done. Papo put in a lot of effort into making this model reflect the most recent Spinosaurus discovery. While it is costly, it is worth the money for Spinosaurus fans and dino toy collectors. Safari has good models too but nothing like this. I bought 2 of these figures for myself and my young niece who is also a Spinosaurus fan and she specifically asked for this toy. It is NOT for young children or a plaything-there are sharp edges, especially around the sail.

Love it. I've already got a bipedal Spino so it was time to add the more accurate quadruped. Detail is good. One thing I've seen people complain about other Papo figures is that they're too small. I hope people realize that they are trying to keep them to scale. If the raptor was as big as the Spino than the scale would be waaayy off. I can see why people would be upset too, they want a good size figure of their favorite dino that's got plenty of detail. Would highly recommend to any Spino lover that wants a good sized, detailed figure for a decent price

Beautiful art work. love the detail. One of the best ---if not the best of Papo that I have in my collection. Also the teeth are perfect. Perfect paint job.

I've had a life long interest in Dinosaurs and I started collecting Papo figures several years ago. I purchased this figure specifically because it represents the most recent reconstructions of the Spinosaurus (the other Papo Spinosaurus figures represent outdated reconstructions). The figure itself is beautifully sculpted and painted, as is typical of Papo figures. The only issue I had was the figure was much larger than I had expected. While the size might not be an issue for most people, as I said I collect the Papo dinosaur figures, and this one is much larger than the other figures on my shelf, so it does not fit in well with the others. Aside from that, I'm very happy with this product.

Fantastic piece. Detail, pose, colors, everything. If you like dinosaurs, what the hell are you waiting for?! Buy it yesterday!

My grandson loves dinosaurs. Oh was look for something different that he didn’t have . This was very realistic and the perfect size . He was very happy.

Even though spinosaurus is basically a Dino-Daschund hound nowadays, this looks GREAT! Very detailed and quite large, it makes for a prominent display piece, but it’s probably *too* nice for children playing with it. (Stick with Schleich or Safari for dinosaurs that can afford to take the abuse!)
