Q: How does it work? I want to add highlights to my medium brown hair and im just looking for a toner as i know i will have a lot of brassiness. Is this

I dye my hair bleach blonde and I use this to get it white blonde. It works great but only lasts a few weeks. I dont know if this is what you would want to use just for highlights. I do know using Clairol Shimmer Lights (its a purple shampoo and conditioner ) works really well on toning down the brassyness. My sister has a brown to blonde ombre and it really works on her blonde and also makes her brown look shiney. I use it at least once a week to keep the yellow out.
