This was a replacement battery for my original three year old HP Pavilion g6 laptop battery that was at its end of life lasting only forty five minuets at most, I was surprised the HP battery lasted for three years. This BND battery gives me almost four hours of usable computer time before needing a recharge. I do not recall the original battery ever giving me that much run time, so right now I am very pleased with the performance of the BND battery, only time will tell about its service life, hopefully it will last as long as the HP battery though I don't expect it to. The fit of the battery, though not perfect, is close enough with just a very slightly wider gap along the top edge compared with HP's battery and it would not have been a noticeable difference if I wasn't trying to find something wrong. Would I purchase the battery again ... in a heart beat and if I was still traveling with my laptop I would purchase another BND battery and not worry about trying to find an outlet at some airport.

I received this product yesterday and since I have been testing it to see how it works on my computer. As I am typing this, my computer is drawing its power only from the battery. Needless to say that the battery charged well, and works like a charm. The quality of the product is very decent. It fit into my laptop nicely without any complications and I can’t tell the difference between this battery and the original one that came with my laptop. The packaging was done well too. Over all, this is a good product and a great backup battery or replacement for your laptops. Also, let me mention that I was actually able to receive this item for a free or a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased product review and I am in no way obligated to leave a good review, this is a great product however, and deserves a good review. Having said that, I recommend this battery.

I bought this battery to replace the MU06 battery in my HP Pavilion dv6 Entertainment Notebook PC. I replaced the battery and let it charge for 12 hours with the laptop turned off. With it plugged it, I then turned it on. Within 60 seconds, the laptop shutdown due to battery overheating. I then unplugged the laptop, and waited 1 hour before turning it on again (unplugged) and it then overheated and shutdown within 60 seconds, It didn't even get a chance to boot up entirely. I was beginning to wonder what was going on, so I then booted up into the HP diagnostics and ran the battery check. It immediately shutdown without completing the check. Everytime I restarted the laptop, it would say that the BIOS had detected an overheated condition and shutdown the laptop to protect it. I then placed the original battery into the laptop and everything returned to normal except the old battery still does not hold a charge for very long. But that is why I purchased this battery. So I returned it. The moral of the story is purchase an original HP battery, not a clone.

I have to say 2 stars because I'm still hoping beyond hope that I can train it to get to max, advertised long life. Standard rule of thumb with these batteries is Full, charge, run down to between 20 and 26% (based on the laptop manufacturer recommendations) then a full charge. Have tried this 3 x but the battery was back down in under 75 minutes, including idling. NO heavy graphics, audio or streaming. E mail and browsing only. The product arrived on time in a proper carton, well packaged. NO initial charging instructions. I have been lazy and haven't sent it back yet because I keep hoping it will improve but I recommend trying another product. I will keep it as an emergency back up for now. If it improves, I will report back.

My previous battery was only lasting about 30 minutes. This one will last 90-120 minutes, maybe. I was hoping for a battery that would last a good 3-4 hours, but maybe have to buy the name brand HP battery for that. Bottom line is, it's better than what I had, but not as good as I was led to believe.

The laptop battery for my mom's HP laptop didn't quite fit perfectly. You had to really push it pretty hard to get it to latch and even then, it wasn't flush to the bottom of the laptop. It worked, and since I had pre-shipped it to their house before our flight out there, I really didn't have an option to send it back and get another one during our 3 day trip. So it worked, but it wasn't perfect, and for a commodity like a battery, my (perhaps unreasonable) expectation was that it would be perfect.

I am very pleased with this battery, I timed it when I charged it for the first time, and got over 5 hours of performance. So far this is one of the best purchases I made, fit perfectly in my computer. Best of all it comes with a 2 year warranty. I have another laptop, and I will purchase my next battery from BND LAPTOP BATTERY.

I bought this to replace the original battery in my G62 laptop. I charged this battery to 100%, and then ran it under normal (for me) use until the computer shut down for low battery. Two hours and twenty-five minutes of run time. Then I recharged it completely, which took two hours and fifteen minutes. These usage and recharge times are acceptable, in my opinion.
