Wonderful electronic latch!
Great product as it was a direct replacement to the failed electronic latch it replaced. The cost was reasonable and with Prime it was delivered with free 2 day shipping.

Cheap and not designed well enough.
I installed the electric door strike and within two days I was called back that the door would not lock. I contacted the dealer and they sent me another one. I opened the cover of the two and found a pin that wa loose. I found where it was located and installed the new one. A week later I got a call again and the pin in the new one was gone. It had fallen out and went into the door jamb. I then installed the original one and there was too much play that I could pull the door open without the buzz. Design very poor. Do not recommend.

Sounds like a Prison Door
I do Access Control once in a while at work and I decided to do something like it as an alternative "smart lock" for my Master Suite Door. Typically I deal with Maglocks and this was my first Door Strike. I noticed when I opened the box it says 8-16VAC to power it. I should of tested it before installing. When I installed it and tested it out by tapping it to a Alarm Panel Transformer output that is around 14VAC and heard what sounds like a loud brrrrrnnnn like in the Prison Movies when they open cell doors, It's honestly kinda funny. The only issue I have is the door knob latch isn't long enough and takes a good push and with the slop in the Door-Strike it opens. Either I find a way to get the latch to reach deeper or attempt to modify the Door-Strike to take out the slop/play.
