The headboard itself looks very nice and adds a touch of elegance to my twin beds in a rental unit. The only disappointment is the color. Instead of white it lends itself to a yellowish white. I had an area rug already purchased and it would have been fantastic had it looked like it’s pictured here. Great price for the quality though!

The media could not be loaded. It has nice fabric. We bought the King size in Navy, which is brighter than in the picture. It arrived clean, with no stains, and was delivered very quickly. Its height adjusts to accommodate different mattress thicknesses, and we easily adjusted the headboard above the bed. The assembly was easy—my husband did it his own way, attaching it to the wall. The room looks cozy. I was afraid the construction might make noise when turning over while sleeping, but it didn’t. I give it 5 stars.

The headboard itself is nice. It came with all of the necessary hardware and it was undamaged. However, it smelled like rotten fish. I’ve had it now for a week and the smell will not go away. It must be caused by the way it was stored or the material it was made of. I’m not for certain, but I know that after the first day, the rancid smell took over my entire bedroom. It was very embarrassing because I had to have maintenance come in my room to fix something and the smell was so bad. I had to burn candles and disguise it with Febreze. After using almost a whole bottle of Febreze, I did diminish some of the smell. I sprayed it and waited for it to dry and repeated unexpected task 5 to 6 times. I even used downy dryer sheets and tried to wipe down the headboard. Nothing worked . I’m very torn because the headboard looks nice and it took a lot of effort to put it together because I have an adjustable bed and I had to buy special brackets just to set it up. All of this effort is discouraging me from returning it due to the smell, and because the headboard does look nice (just like the picture). I’m trying to be optimistic and hope the smell will dissipate in the next week. The item arrived only in a cardboard box. It was not wrapped in plastic. But it was not damaged, and it had the necessary hardware to install it on a bedframe. It also arrived early. So I was very excited, but now that excitement has turned to disappointment. I hope that you have a better experience if you purchased this product because the headboard does look like the picture, so maybe I just received a defective headboard.
