A Good Boot For The Price
I have purchased these boots (Dark Grey, size 11) on THREE occasions. I wear 10.5, but I would recommend ordering a half size up. They are comfortable out of the box and provide good arch and ankle support. I DO recommend getting a pair of insoles to replace the factory ones, you will thank yourself. I wear these all the time and although these boots are not specifically stamped as being "non-slip" they will pass employer scrutiny, unless your boss is a REAL stickler.Generally, I will walk about 8 to 15 miles daily and perform extensive job duties on my feet. I have one leg slightly longer than the other and often inadvertently kick that heel against the ground. Having said that, I will describe my experience with these boots:1st Pair. I was impressed how comfortable out of the box they were, but leery of their quality due to the price. I wore them daily, walking on many types of services. I wore them through the winter, shoveling snow (as part of job duties). With thick socks, these boots are quite warm. They lasted until spring (about 6 months) when I stepped in a puddle and got the wet-sock on the heel where the sole had worn.2nd Pair. Again, comfortable out of the box. I caught these on sale for about $52. I subjected this pair to the same conditions as the previous, but this pair lasted around a year. I retired them after hiking Zion National Park in the snow. The soles were worn to the point of being dangerous on those switchbacks, and I was a damn fool to wear them up there. Also, the right boot began taking water around the ball of the foot and soon the entire boot became a sponge for water and mud.3rd Pair. After having a ceremony for pair #2 and laying them to rest. I ordered my current pair. I have yet to test these in winter conditions, having only worn them for spring and most of summer. Again, these were comfortable out of the box (more so after replacing the insole). I hiked close to 30 miles in Boston a week ago and my feet never hurt.All-in-all, a $60 pair of boots could do you a lot worse than the experience I've had with these. If you're on a budget and need a comfortable boot for work that you can wear outside of work without looking and feeling like a lunch lady, these are it.

Very nice boots for the money
Bought the black 6 inchers for motorcycle boots 9 months ago. same size i buy in all shoes fit perfect. liked them soo much I wore them every day since. one zipper just died but they have been submersed in granite mud many many times. That's about the worst thing you could do to ANY zipper. These boots have been through the gnarliest abuse of every kind constantly. except the fire test. I think i can sew that zipper shut and keep truckin for many miles. i can destroy the most expensive brands in a year. The treads still have 1/2 to 2/3 left in the spots you wear down the most. This is after being drug along asphalt all over the place on a motorcycle . been in multiple crashes with bike laying on a foot and never a soar ankle. that may have been luck. don't try it at home. Something about the way I walk always wears my shoes out unevenly from side to side. these are NOT doing that? Just ordered the sand version of the same ones.

Super comfortable
This is my fifth pair of nortiv 8 boots. Comfort is a 5. Durability is a 3.Price is a 5.I will continue to buy as long as the cost stays down. I can go through 3 pair of these a yr and still not pay what i would for a pair of ariat, wolverines,or something similar. I would not get the comfort level that the nortiv 8 gives me. They are not waterproof so dont expect them to be. Im a 52 yr old mason that prefers the comfort and lightweight of these boots. I get about 4 months out of a pair for work. I have another pair I've had for 2 yrs that a wear to work around the house. They are still extremely comfortable. Worth every penny.

Seems decent
For $42.24 (6/23) these are a decent pair of military-style boots. The side zipper works very easily with a hook and loop tab to hold the zipper pull in place. The 'webbing' of Pleather-like material behind the side zipper looks a bit cheap, but we'll see how this all holds up.Side zippers are great that once adjusted, they are essentially pull on boots while the laces remain tied. One thing to note is that these do NOT have the sort of tread material that should be worn on slippery and/or oily smooth surfaces, like tile or concrete.I stepped on a small puddle in the kitchen, and there was immediate slipping. If it had been a large spill on that tile it could have resulted in injury. However, for gardening, working outside around the property and kicking around in, these have worked very well so far. These boots would benefit from a better insole to reduce fatigue, but what's provided is decent enough, but I have ordered some 'comfort fit' insoles to try out for an additional $9.49

Thumbs up
Just got these boots, which I ordered to hopefully help with a condition l have, neuropathy. It causes my walking to be unsteady and my ankles try to "roll over". I thought 8" boots would add support, which these do. They are pretty well made, finished well. I like that the collar is padded but not overpadded like some boots I've had are, and the collar is tapered down in back so it doesn't press against the Achilles tendon. The zipper is sturdy and works well, though I don't see a need for the Velcro flap at the top. I just cut it off. The sole pattern is ok and doesn't seem to hold dirt. My only concern is that the sole material doesn't have a lot of grip on slick surfaces, like floor tile. Overall I'm as pleased with these $66 boots as with my other $200 ones. Just be aware these aren't waterproof or even water repellent since it's sueded leather, but I would definitely buy them again.

Botas
Me la he puesto un par de veces y para trayectos cortos, la encuentro algo pesada, pero por contra parece bastante resistente, aunque el tiempo lo dita.
