Simone Perele Women's Amour Demi-Cup Underwire - French Lace

This is one of two favorite bras made by Simone Perele the other being the Delice demi. I now pretty much only wear the Delice or the Amour demis and have shelved all my other bras except my Chantelle C Chic demi and my Lise Charmel Ecrin Platine three part.This may be an unlined demi but it has support. The shaping it gives is a lot like the old Nina demi Simone Perele used to make if you were ever familiar with that one. It is a very natural shape, makes my breasts look like they did before breast feeding twins in terms of uplift, perkiness, and a nice, natural and non-fakey-non-rounded-off shape. There is a mesh sling sort of off to the outside lower part of the cup that gives a lot of lift. The lace is nice and pretty, sheer, and sturdy (I remember the lace on the Nina pilled fast and was weak). My husband loves the look of this bra under a tight tee or with no shirt, so it is a total winner either way.This new color is gorgeous, I am so glad they came out with it, light gray and silver are my favorite color in a bra (I'll be running out and getting the new gray in the Delice demi too). I was expecting the white embroidery on the gray to be be as subdued as it is in the photos but in person it pops out a little more which was a little bit of a minor bummer. I am looking forward to Simone Perele coming out with the Amour demi in a nude color, that is something I could really use!If you have never worn Simone Perele before I suggest you go in and try one on in a store before ordering. I found when I first started wearing Simone Perele that I had to go down a band size and up a cup size from what I wear in domestic brands. The cups on the Amour demi I think are a teeny tiny bit roomier than the Delice demi, and definitely roomier than the Wish demi. I take a 32E in the Simone Perele Amour and Delice demi but my Chantelle C Chic demi is a 34D yet in the Chantelle Eternelle and Chantilly demis for example I take a 32D and in Lise Charmel I take a 32D. I went into a Nordstrom and got fitted by one of their fitters in all the styles of Simone Perele demis they had in stock, like the Celeste and Wish and so forth, and then went home and ordered online what I liked from my fitting at Nordstrom only at better prices. This way I knew exactly whats size I needed in what style. Not particularly impressed by this bra. It is comfortable but oddly shaped, making the girls rather pointed and unflattering. I only wear this when hanging at home. True to size, a nice colour and lace is soft, may fit perfectly on someone else but not for me.
