Accuracy and consistency at a great price!(
As soon as I received this I ran multiple tests at 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 psi, and compared it against two other gauges I had. This gauge was spot on when comparing it to my trusty gauge, except at 50psi where there was about a 1 psi difference. This is a very solid gauge, seems very well constructed. Not too heavy, just right. I was also able to use this on my bicycle using a Presta to Schrader adapter.I did quite a bit of searching, most of the gauges I was looking at were in the $15-$20 range but eventually settled on this as a 'Add-On' item for just over $5. I am very glad I did.

Accurate Straight-forward easy to read gauge
I am so happy with this gauge. It is very easy to use and read. It is also handy to have when I put air in my tires at a service station: the gauges that are built into the air hoses can be hard to read, at least for me. So, I just put the air in with the hose, remove it and then place this tire gauge on to check the pressure reading. If, based on the reading, I need more air, I put the hose back on and add more.

Gauge Works But Is Not The One Pictured
I ordered one of these gauges from Amazon several months ago. I like it very much as it has range enough to measure my RV tires and resolution and accuracy enough for my low pressure lawn tractor tires. So, I ordered another to keep one in the tow vehicle and one in the garage. However, I did not receive the same gauge as before and not the same as the one pictured. The one I received has a straight shaft (no angled adjustable head) and no means of locking the pressure reading.Amazon may not have sufficient control of its suppliers, but they should not allow things like this to happen. An inexpensive item like this is not worth the trouble returning, but I am disappointed. The gauge I received just will not work properly for some of the measurements that I have to make.

Straight-forward easy to read gauge with built-in bleed
This gauge is super easy to read and I can set precise pressure to all four tires.I bought two of them between 5-10 years ago and kept one in a drawer in case the other one broke. Recently, I noticed on the one I have been using that when I press the bleed button to reset it, the needle stops between 5-10psi according to the gauge, not down against the rest stop you can see clearly in the picture here.So I started using the other one, which is how I noticed the needle rest stop issue with the first one. The needle on the new gauge rests against the stop when I reset it. So I set all our tires as I have been setting them in the past, about 32PSI. But now the tires in both cars feel like basketballs. Their door stickers both specify 30PSI front and rear, tires are stock size and I never go by the max pressure on the tires. So is the gauge with the needle stopping all the way down the more accurate, and is 30PSI really 30PSI on it?

Favorite gauge
This thing is cool. Previously I used the basic stick gauges. Most stick gauges are plastic and don't last. This gauge is all metal. Feels very solid. Ordered the plastic sleeve for cold weather too. The part that meets the valve stem has thicker walls than a stick gauge. So it seals faster due to less air leaks. I will be ordering another one. Also, the bright white background on the gauge makes the numbers very easy to read, even in dim light.

Remember to push the button
This B00070KA5I is an excellent, rugged, metal gauge that's easy to use and read. It costs no more than some all-plastic models whose bent tip makes them not fit in some wheels. I added the ribbed boot B007Y5SP7E to it, as seen in the photo. Just remember to push the release/reset/bleeder button after you're finished taking a reading to return the needle to zero. If you don't you'll be surprised that all the subsequent tires seem to have exactly the same pressure as the first one. Oops.

Accurate, but 1 major flaw.
Gauge is accurate, when compared to similar types of air gauges. I rated this 3 stars because the air release button on the side sticks each time it is pushed. If I don't hold it out before attaching to the valve stem, then the gauge reads the pressure, but then immediately starts losing it before I look at the reading. I have similar gauges from other mfgs and I don't have this issue.Overall build quality is up to par, and if I weren't for the air release port issue, this would be a 5 star product.
