Carhartt Men's Oakhaven Logo Cap

This is a nice hat. Made in china. It has an elastic sweat band which makes it somewhat stretch to fit. I dont know if they make other sizes but when I bought it the Medium/Large was the smallest size. It was just a hair too big for my head. Dont know my fitted size but average sounds right. Maybe 7 1/8 or so. I washed it in hot water and threw it in the dryer. It fits perfectly now. I think a small/medium would have fit right. Its a well made hat and the material is familiar if you have any Carhartt pants. The hat will last years. Not sure about the sweat band. At $20.00 It looses a star for not being made in USA. and another for the somewhat weak sweat band. I wouldnt pay $20.00 for a chinese hat again. $15, maybe. These companies need to start hurting for not making their products in America. Either sell cheap crap made in china or sell good products made in America. The men who buy Carhartt care. Keep shipping the jobs overseas and there wont be any of us left.

Carhartt discontinued the previous version of this hat, and I was so disappointed. Particularly after my last one came to an early demise at the tooth of my dog who was unhappy to be left home while we went to dinner. Despondent I searched Amazon on the off-chance some old stock would still be kicking around. I was delighted that this hat is back, albeit under a new name. The material is a bit thicker than the previous version, taking it a little longer to break in, but it fits the same, making this one of my very favorite hats. It also has a cool little "Since 1889" embroidered on the bottom of the bill.

My husband has been wearing carhartt hats for years. The stores around us only have the the mesh back or the adjustable ones He only likes the flex fit hats. This one arrive on time and in good packaging. The bill was almost flat. This was great due to the fact that he straps it on the back of his r6 and the bill needs to be almost flat . He wears it everyday all in all great hat great fit . He wears a medium Helmet if that helps.

I like baseball hats and some skating snapbacks and lids 59fifty hats but I was gonna use this hat for when I'm at work but I wear a 7-3/4 fitted hat and it looks funny on my head.

This Christmas I bought everything Carhart has. From socks, boots, all clothing, and hats. Out of all my hats this one is my favorite. The fit can't be beat.

It's been the perfect work hat. It has a nice head band to help keep sweat out of your eyes.

Husband loved it. (And, I 'never' get to pick out his hats.) ; )
