Bought for pour over coffee, barely makes half a pot. The "max" fill line is only halfway up this pot, don't judge it's volume capacity by it's size... Update: they continually harass me by email to offer compensation in exchange for removing my negative review

Was so excited for this kettle, and worked fine for three months. Then the switch stopped working. Pops up immediately after pressing it down. Should be well under warranty, but can’t find any way to contact Vosen Direct. Hopefully they will see this and do the right thing and replace it immediately!

It looks nice and sleek on my counter. That’s one positive comment But.... the base is very light and scoots around when you try and place the kettle back on to it. You have to line up the parts and it is frustrating that you cannot use and easily place back down. It feels pretty cheap. I wish someone would have shared this info... so I’m sharing with you! 🙂

Kettle has a sleek modern design that looks great in my all white marble kitchen. Its Easy to use and Is the prefect companion for my Chemex pour over coffee maker. It’s light weight which is a must have when making pour over. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars for two reasons: 1- There is no beat or sound to indicate when the water is at temperature. It only has a light indicator that turns off. Not a big deal but sound would be better if you are busy doing other things and don’t need to monitor it. 2- There is no temperature reader so you don’t know how hot the water gets. I notice that my coffee stays hotter longer when I use boiling water from my stove top stainless steel kettle then the electric kettle. It could be just the function of electric vs gas stove where electric just doesn’t get as hot.

I had been looking at a similar matte black kettle that was easily 2-3x the price. I'm thoroughly happy I picked this one.Pros- Minimal, elegant, lovely to have sitting on your counter top all of the time- Easy to use, just flip a switch.- Auto turns off when it's done boiling so you can walk away and not worry about it- Very easy to just hit the switch again if you meandered away for too longCons- If exact temp for various teas is really important to you, that's not a feature here. There is no variable temp setting. For me, this was totally fine! But well worth considering based on your intended usage.- The top is a little difficult to get off, but on the whole I'm not mad about this as I'm never worried it will come off at a bad time and splash me with scalding water.I'd recommend this and I was happy with the value for the money.

I received this product on the day of review, and I will be sure to update this post if my opinion on it changes in the future.It came in a well constructed box and had no damage at all. Each part is secured and protected pretty well in the box. The material and finish of this kettle is very consistent and appealing, the finish of the metal body is similar to the handle which I like, and the black hue is consistent throughout. It feels well made. The handle is secure on the body, and the seams where parts come together are very clean. The handle is very comfortable.The base is very light and I notice that it is lifted slightly by the cable. I think the base could do with a bit more weight to offset this. However this little detail doesn't bother me much. Looking at the product images, I thought that the logo might be a bit much in person. It's actually not that reflective or large and it doesn't bother me. Also, I noticed that the edges of the metal don't seem to be sanded down or something, specifically on the spout and the edges of the lid, making the metal work feel slightly unfinished.But aside from the build quality and the style, this is a kettle, and it's purpose is to heat up water, which it does well! It is a simple kettle in its function and I really appreciate that. For me it's perfect. I don't know exactly what temperature it is that the kettle flips off automatically but it's too hot for me to drink at that point, but a couple minutes of leaving my coffee to cool and it's ready to go. It does its job as a kettle very well. I am only making drinks for myself, but I think this is a good size for 2 or 3 people.In conclusion, I think this is a quality kettle that will last me quite a while. I am happy with this purchase but will update this post if something goes wrong. Thanks for reading : )

I purchased this kettle couple months ago... (about 2 months) but the model changed by the time I was living a review. The picture you see was the only model sold by this listing at the time of my purchase.And btw doesn’t work as it should.It is a FIASCO!The blue tab supposed to flip once the water is boiled but it just keeps going and going and going...I wish I could return this item but apparently it would be a 6$ charge to pick it up... since I don’t have a car right now to take it to the drop off.I guess that’s another problem, if an item needs to be return because is defected I don’t see why amazon is making pay for returning it.

after looking at many tea kettles finally settled on this one and out of the box it's been perfect! had been using keurig kcup machine 1500w the vosen is 1000w and boils water faster! out of the box rinsed it and with the first cup there was no metallic or plastic taste! no cleaning instructions with kettle but can find them on amazon vosen page! love that the electric cord isn't on the kettle! being left handed it makes things easier being as all the kettles are designed for right handed people but not an issue with the vosen! an excellent purchase!!
