Canon Office Products MG6420 Wireless Color Photo Printer with Scanner and Copier - Black

Got my printer just 2 days after ordering it. Super fast shipping. It took no time at all to set it up. Very easy to understand instructions. Prints beautifully. I read in a number of reviews that this printer was rather noisy. It makes noise, yes, but not overly loud. They all make noise! I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone who asks.

I did a lot of research on printers and choose this one. I must have gotten a bad lemon because had issues with it from the start. When I first turned it on, it was so loud my dog came in barking at it. I mean loud...really really really loud! Sounded like some mechanical problems. I decided to give it a shot anyways and it had an incredibly difficult time remembering the wifi connection (which was why I ordered it in the first place). And it couldn't pick up the signal from my wifi in the next room to the router. So I plugged it in next to the router to investigate further and finally got it to find the network. The print out looked pretty good once we got it finally connecting and printing. From the time I pushed print, until the thing started print was about 2 minutes. Than the original loud screeching noise it made while printing made it almost unbearable to be in the same room as it. I give up and am getting an HP again.

We ordered black and got white. Although there are drivers for Snow Leopard, the printer would not connect. We established the printer on a Windows network, instead.

Slow and loud but prints/scans wirelessly. Couldn't get it to find access point but it was easy to set up manually - it found my network and I just had to put in my network password.I printed one page and, after it printed, the machine whirred, etc. for a minute or two - I was told it's cleaning the print heads. Very loud when printing.My last Canon 5420 had a paper jam so had to be returned. Canon changed the paper loading so maybe that will fix the paper jam problem.Set up was easy even though the big sheet of instructions is a little off. I've set Canon printers up before, so I know how to do it. Much easier than with the much older models.Hoping this one lasts a long time.Scanning was slow, so I called Canon customer service. The man who helped was very nice, understood the problem and helped me get things going faster by changing settings on my Mac. It scans wirelessly but is a little slow.I've used this printer/scanner for a while now and I do like it.

WORTHLESS. Do not buy this product. Feeding one sheet of paper at a time MIGHT cause it to print. Otherwise you have to unplug/reset it to start over. Better to hand write whatever is on your screen at the time.

This seems to be a nice printer. We use the printing and scanning functions only so far. It was delivered when promised and there was no damage. Set up was easy. It showed a low ink message and we just pushed the OK button and continued printing. Then we ordered new ink cartridges and when it does not print that color we will change the cartridge.

Ease of set-up including wireless synch to router and multiple devices. Quality of print is very good. Automatically updated old software (older cannon printer). So far a good investment for moderate volume scan and print.

Great printer very fast with excellent print quality top notch photographs I would buy it again. Will tell all my friend's how great it is.
