Delicious, true cashew flavor, nice texture
At the risk of sounding like a snob, I was a little apprehensive about this product, simply because it's from Jif. I think of Jif as a run-of-the-mill producer of peanut butter, and not much more! It had been a while since I'd bought cashew butter, and when I saw this as an add-on item, I thought, what the heck?!Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Very pleasantly surprised. Its flavor is true to cashews--there's no doubt about what you're eating. And its texture is the way I LIKE nut butters, smooth and creamy.True nut butter aficionados would probably complain about its texture, which is the way it is because of its addition of various oils, and that's fine. I understand that this is probably not the best choice for everyone. However, for me, it's exactly what I like. The much-pricier cashew butters I've bought in the past had a much less creamy texture and, as I recall, benefited from stirring. There's no stirring necessary with this product--just open the jar and you're good to go. Use it exactly as you would peanut butter: in sandwiches, on crackers, with celery, etc.Another thing some might find offensive is its addition of sugar. I actually prefer a slightly sweet taste, and the amount of sugar in this cashew butter does not render it cloyingly sweet. It enhances the cashew flavor, if anything. Finally, even though I read its size/description, I was surprised at how small the jars are. I guess I'm so used to buying peanut butter--in sizes larger than 12 ounces--that I had a mental image of what I'd be receiving...and was surprised. Just note that it is 12 ounces, and do look at its little graphic depicting the jar's size relative to a human hand. I didn't! :)

YUMMMM
We have a 4 year old with a peanut allergy, but the rest of our family od 4 loves peanut butter. This has been the ultimate peanut butter replacement for us. I absolutely love cashew butter and Jif Cashew butter is perfectly blended unlike other small, local brands. It's somewhat difficult to find in stores, so I often go to AMAZING when I need to replenish our supply. It is so much more expensive than peanut butter but it tastes so good and when you're dealing with an allergy situation.... it's worth it!I have used cashew butter as a direct, equal substitute for peanut butter in many recipes. We have yet to be disappointed. I even made "peanut butter " cookies with it. Yum. Yum. Yum.

This is better than I expected
This is better than I expected. It has a slightly sweet flavor that is a nice change of pace from peanut butter. However, it is lower in protein than peanut butter, at 5 grams per ounce serving (compared to peanut butter's 7 grams per ounce). But I like some variety and this provides that. While peanut butter is stll my all time favorite nut butter, the cashew butter is a nice change of pace. This product is worth trying.

Jif Cashew Butter. creamy
I have loved cashews my whole life and I lost all my teeth for medical reasons, and I missed the taste of cashews. I have looked for cashew butter in stores and haven't found it. Did not even know Jif made this so was delighted when I found it on-line. Very smooth, no oil on top like some of the specialty butters. I like it on a cracker or a half of sandwich. The cashew taste comes through I know I will be ordering this again...and then probably again....and so on

It's pretty tasty. That said
It's pretty tasty. That said, this has been a learning experience. I kept thinking, "boy, this tastes almost EXACTLY like Jif Peanut Butter." After pondering over the ingredients for a while, I realize this comes about because both products are LOADED with soybean oil. I try to avoid soy because it contains plant estrogen, and, as a male, I'm not exactly keen on eating a bunch of estrogen... Anyway, tastier than peanut butter, but just barely. Definitely fun for the experiment of trying something new, but not really worth the money in hindsight.

Great Almond Butter
I have wanted to try almond butter for a long time, and there are a lot of fancy almond butter's out there with some very fancy price tags, so I decided to go with the name I know and the price I can afford. That's what makes Jif almond butter so great, its really good without the fancy price. The best way i can describe it is it's creamy and smooth like peanut butter, but it's made with, and tastes like almonds. It has a good texture and you don't have to stir it every time you use it. I really enjoy it and I would definitely buy it again.
