How small do the horns have to be to use it?? The buckling im getting has 3 inch long horns and hes 6 months old

I use it on males up to 3 or 4 days old and females as old as a week. If he has horns that long, your best bet is to stick fun stuff on them like tennis balls or paint them fun colors
