I use the book as a coffee table book along with the book Dogs Rough and Smooth by same author purchased at same time. Enjoy the drawings.

The books were like new and arrived on time. The republication was true to the original book I had years ago.

The older I get, the more I love dogs. This charming book was out of print for many years. It’s now back in print with a forward by the author Ann Patchett. The dog sketches are captured beautifully. If you love dogs, this book is an absolute joy. If you know someone who loves dogs, this would be a perfect gift.

What a delightful book! Ann Patchett’s forward is perfect. I keep this on my coffee table and look through it time & time again. It’s also a wonder gift for any dog lover.

I have the original of this Lucy Dawson book, but it's so fragile that I dare not just sit down, open it, and enjoy it. With this copy, though, I can! I love it, and the price can't be beat!!
