I bought my new FHD 1080p 120hz tv on Cyber Monday. Got it last week. Hook up was a breeze. Setup was super easy. The longest part was assembling the base mount! Maybe 10min. The picture is awesome! As with most tv's these days, the speakers aren't the best in the world. If you are really worried about sound, you probably already own a surround system...so hook it up! The picture is clear and crisp. My mom was amazed! She has really bad eyes due to a stigmatism and she says ut almost looks like looking through a window watching her favorite shows! Very lifelike! I would highly recommend this tv to anyone!

Absolutely terrible color reproduction ,viewing angle and backlight.
The short story? This television is terrible, the colors are not only over saturated but WRONG. The viewing angle is absolutely terrible. If you move more than 3 degrees left or right from center the picture starts to wash out immediately. The back light is very patchy and inconsistent. The sound, even when attached to a quality analog amplifier, is weak and has a strange distortion with louder high frequency sounds. Most of the display adjustments are locked or missing. There are 3 color temperatures to choose from; too red, too blue, or WAY too blue. The long story? I bought this TV because it was a decent price and was one of the few TVs I could find that had all of the input and output jack/ports I needed for my sound system, retro games, and HTPC. I was wowed by its contrast and sharpness when I first fired it up, but after a few minutes I realized something was very wrong with the color. Dull scenes with little color look pretty good, but bright scenes with highly saturated color take on an unreal, cartoony look. Anything red looks like it is glowing red, and all of its detail is gone. Sea blue, sky blue, any blue, are turned to a sort of bright indigo color. Light green is changed to a neon yellow color. Orange glows much like the red does, washing out all of the detail. Yellow is always this strange off yellow. Dark skin tones are greenish brown, medium skin tones orange, and light skin tones often show patchy red spots on the cheeks and nose like they’ve all been recently slapped in the face. I have approximately 14 different LCD displays in my house (counting mobile devices, monitors, game systems) and not one reproduces color in this way. I tested the gamma, contrast, brightness etc. with a few test patterns and those are way off as well, but not near as noticeable as the color problem. The TV also appears to be using some sort of edge interpolation and edge sharpening which makes retro games look terrible when they are moving. The worst part is that the options to fix these problems on the HDMI inputs are locked or missing altogether. I called Polaroid about the issue and was told "the color is set from the factory and cannot be changed by the owner", "there is no service mode to fix this issue". After a few days I realized I had a headache after watching this TV, perhaps from eyestrain. My recommendation is that no one buy this TV unless you are either partially or fully color blind, or don't really care if your TV looks like a cartoon most of the time.

Nice TV , did not come with the stand that is pictured. It has 2 on the outsides, not what I wanted.

Disappointed
I have tried to be fair by waiting six month before writing this review. I have only one complaint; but it is a serious one. The flesh tones are terrible. Caucasian faces are either bubble gum pink or washed out and unnatural at any setting. "People of color" run from OK to off-white-- like pastyfaced Caucasians. There are internal picture adjustment screens, but on each one the "tint" control is "greyed out" and inaccessible: why is it even there? Strangely, cartoons are fine: only human beings are affected, but I didn't buy the set to watch SpongeBob.

Very good picture with line across the bottom.
The media could not be loaded. This is a very simple led TV that has 1080P, a very good picture, 3 HDMI ports, and included stand. Connection mode capabilities include HDMI, Component, Cable/Antenna, VGA (D-Sub), and Composite. It is light weight weighing 17lbs at shipping. The plastic components look to be on the inexpensive side compared to more expensive televisions, but the price reflects that so I won't dock any stars in that department. The setup was straightforward with four easy steps, and the fine tune settings are simple as well, offering the usual basic color mode selections, contrast modes, etc. We are quite surprised to see how good the picture is,...very crisp and colorful, and the tv has very nice contrast.Negatives- thus reason for docking stars:There is a problem with a line that goes across the bottom where the plastic frame meets the screen. This line changes colors depending on the dominant color on the screen. You can view this line on the video that I have included in this review. The sound quality on this television is rather tinny and not that great.***Warranty: One year warranty for the flat panel tv with the caviate of "All items repaired or replaced at our desecration."***HDMI not included***Batteries for remote includedUpdate Sept 13, 2015:The line across the bottom is getting worse and more pronounced with increased viewing of this television. Maybe I just got a lemon. Otherwise picture is very good.

Outstanding picture quality. The sound because of the speakers being on the bottom of the TV and in our case encased inside an armoire the sound is muffled. Since I hooked an existing surround sound system, don't have any issues with the sound.

Not buying from Consumer electronics anymore
Bought 2 TVs for 2 different offices, the one that I bought from Consumer Electronics was the cheapest, I was happy with my purchase until I found out that the TV came damaged, I had to send pictures and wait for them to contact carrier, in the end nor them nor the carrier were "responsible" for the damages so I ended up without a TV nor any of my money money, total rip off. Super disappointed and now broke.
