no longer cut through meats.
Have only used twice since I received........but thrilled with it's performance. Easy to use & Clean. Now can have FRESH Ground Meat - store bought was just awful. After using 5 times now..........will not grind properly - chuck steak.........will not grind fat at all. Every piece of meat gets jammed up - did all they said to do - very cold meat - small strips, etc. Nothing works......seems as though blades have gotten dull??? Started out so great - now so disappointed. No one at this company to contact. Now I feel I've wasted my money.

Very unhappy buyer!!!
This has been one of the worst experiences ever! It wouldn't grind the meat! .... on top of it alll, in the pieces that didn't come out, I was finding bits of Ground aluminum in the meat! To add insult to injury, 25 pounds of pork trying to grind it and to make smoked sausage went bad on me! It was rather expensive pork, it was the free range type from Pennsylvania Dutch country! I am not happy to say the least! However, as the saying goes you get what you pay for but in my opinion they advertised it to be such a great machine, therefore, I figured I'd give it a try! Big mistake! If there was such a thing, I would give it, "MINUS STARS"

Good tool for the $
Works well for the money for occasional usage (every couple months). The plates will rust quickly after use if you do not immediately clean and dry them. Otherwise, all good.

Della 2000W only has one speed.
First, setting the Della 2000W on my counter top, it is unstable side to side. I could live with that. I cleaned the hopper and grinder parts and prepped the machine to do some grinding. Tested the on/off/speed switch and reverse button. Machine only runs forward on what should be low speed, when the switch points to the single solid dot. When I turned the switch up to the two solid dots, which should be high speed, nothing happens. When the switch points to the two solid dots and I depress the reverse button, the machine runs in reverse. The only time the reverse button runs the machine in reverse is when the speed switch points to the two solid dots. The implication is that the thing is stainless steel, but the hopper doesn't feel like it is. It feels like aluminum, but the instruction manual says it is die-cast. The cutting plate has two tabs that are suppose to fit into two slots on the grinding head, but the cutting plate barely sets deep enough to catch the slots. The grinding head does not appear to be stainless nor does the augur. They look like some sort of cast metal also. I haven't tried to use it because it just isn't what it is advertised to be.Update 6/2/2016: Contacted the seller about the issue with the motor speed and they are top notch for customer service. Based on my transaction, if you buy from them and there is any issue, they will resolve it.

Great Grinder
Great Grinder without question.. On my first use I ground approximately 80 pounds of deer meat in under 15 minutes trying to see at what point it would start to struggle and it never did. The meat was chilled but not frozen and the grinder did great then and every time since. The sausage stuffer works great as well. I haven't used the pasta maker yet but I'm sure it is going to do really well with that job too. I highly recommend this product! P.S. The reverse function is a wonderful bonus as well.
