VansMen's Asher Slip-On Shoe

Keep in mind that Vans naturally are narrow so, if you have wide feet like my husband, be prepared to buy a shoe stretcher like we had to or buy them from the Vans website where you can order wides...but have to wait two or three weeks to get them.

These shoes were for my son. He is a huge skater and he really liked them. I ordered a half size bigger than he normally would wear because he is 15 and still growing. He loved the idea of slip ons. What I received was not at all what I ordered. I received a size smaller than ordered and they were lace ups. They happened to fit for now and he needed shoes asap as his other ones didn't have the soul. I'm glad they fit but disappointed that they were not at all what we ordered. I didn't have the time to go through the return process so he is wearing them for now and I will but him a new pair soon through a different supplier.

These are your standard slip-on style Vans, which are a step up in comfort from the "chuck"-style, mostly thin canvas version. The padding on the back is better, but the elastic is a little tough when it first comes in (that breaks in after about 8 hours of wear).I always keep a pair of these and replace them about every 1.5 - 2 years. This pair is exactly like the others.

Bought a pair size 12 and returned they we're too large. Got a size 11.5 to replace and while they fit, my son said they are much more narrow. Was an Xmas gift.

Vans for my grandson and he absolutely loves them. I replaced them with the same style pair he had before which he destroyed. He is really rough on shoes. But for my family they love Vans!

Package arrived fast shoukd look good. Shoes are a gift, so cannot answer on fit, yet, will come back later and update.

Beware when ordering this product if you live in the US! I bought it and did not consider WHERE it was coming from. It took FORVER to arrive. The shoe is great quality and durable and works well for me, but when I order things from England, it is very hit and miss on service. Either COVID or wokeism has ruined that country's ability to work. Sad, but true

Fairly thin maybe I needed a wide foot size but don’t for other shoes or brands

Bought these for my hubby as he had problems with the Velcro fasteners which after a time becomes loose and does not hold. Also laces are difficult as he is disabled and struggles with slippers or trainers. Now he just pushes in his feet and he's ready to go. They look quite smart for simple casuals, soft enough comfortable wear for inside on the hard flooring or out. Good for people who drags their feet (after a stroke) as they will not slip off or come apart. At first they were a little difficult to put on as they were stiff being new but now, they're a part of his feet! Happy walking!

These look identical to the last pair I bought - but they're not. The build is less sturdy and they run a wee bit smaller. Having said that, they're fine shoes for knocking about the house in - posh slippers if you like - but I wouldn't go out on the town with them on.As with all Vans, I recommend buying at least half a size larger than you normally would, and putting an insole in them. Otherwise they're not too comfy and a bit on the thin side.

I bought to replace an old (very similar) pair that I have worn for a couple of years. What I really like is that, unlike the classic slip on with the checkered pattern, the bit at the top around the back does not have a hard-ish plastic/vinyl covering which I always find rubs and causes blisters. These have a softer, more flexible cloth covering that has never caused me a problem.

When I first saw them I thought they looked OK but when I tried them on I could not get either foot into the shoes. The problem was that the elastic on both sides of the shoes was not stretchy enough and the space where you slide your foot in wasn't high enough.Hence I had to return them.

Brilliant, been wearing these at work for the last 3 or so months and they are comfortable even after being on my feet for 8 hours.Not even showing signs of wear and tear yet.
