Our puppies are currently 5 week old English Setters. We used this first as a whelping box and now it is predominately a puppy pen. It is well built, easy to set up and break down to move, and incredibly easy to keep clean. Also love that one of the four sides is halved so that you can lower or raise a small section as needed for mom to get in and out. At 5 weeks, though, I think our puppies will soon be able to catapult themselves over the top as they use a stabilizing pipe which is part of the overall system to stand on. The only thing that would make this better is if we could add more height as the puppies get older and if there was some way to close the gap between the stabilizing pipe and the wall of the pen - to keep little legs from getting through. Still, at 8 weeks we will be putting this in storage to use again for the next time. Great buy, and definitely worth the investment.

Im a breeder of french bulldog pups. The 48x48 is a little large for a litter of frenchies when they are newborn to 5 weeks....BUT...this box allows me to easily make it a 24x48 box! You just have to go to home depot or your local plumbing supply and get 1 piece of PVC pipe and cut it to fit the 24 inch shorter sides so you're not cutting the pipe it came with...unless you want to just buy a sleeve connector to joint the 2 pieces together again. Ive had other boxes and the quality is no comparison. I would rather have bought this box for $$ long ago than to have wasted the money I have over the years for flimsy whelping boxes. Unfortunately, this company didnt exist when I started breeding. I love it so much...I just bought a 2nd. I own my own pet food company (my own brand) and I work a lot of hours. I cant afford to take 4 weeks or more off work staying home with puppies...so I have a nursery at home and at work and this box makes it so easy!!! Thank you for a quality product! Let me start off by saying this whelping box has been a life saver! It is well made, easy to assemble and is sturdy enough to accomendate my litter of doberman babies in it . I purchased the 48x48 size and is perfect for my female and her babies. The whelping box is easy to move around and store but study enough for my dobermans. It has held up so well and cleaning has been a breeze ( I use a disinfect product and a microfiber cloth and it cleans up easy peezy). I also love this product because the odor isn't there like the wooden whelping boxes because cleanup is a breeze and don't trap the odors like a wooden whelping box ! The puppy rails inside has been a life saver for my active crew! I have had no issues with puppies chewing on it and Im excited to recently learn that the company has made extension panels for this box to add on to it as the puppies get larger and venture out of the whelping box !! The company is super easy to work with and stands by their product! Looking forward to purchasing the extension panels ! Will buy again!

This was easy to assemble without special tools and is quite sturdy PVC plastic. Got the 48x48 size for our 52-pound Rough Collie mom (I know, we're breeders, but I hate to call her a bitch just to sound arrogant). Very good protection for her litter of seven pups who were comfortable in the box until about 4 weeks. The safety railings did a great job of keeping the pups from getting under mom. Once they were big enough to reach the top, they figured how to climb out by standing on the safety rails, but by then they were too big to keep in the box anyway. My wife said the extension would have been a big help but I'm not sure I agree. Moms need to get completely away from the brood from time to time, not just next door. Disassembly was just as simple. Would be nice if they added an option for a storage box for the disassembled unit to pack away until needed for next litter. Overall performed exactly as expected. Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. 4’x4’ just the right size for a large breed with a smaller litter or a small breed with a larger litter. I have 3 white shepherd puppies and momma is 60#. Plenty of room. The box is easy to assemble with a smooth easily cleaned surface. Two doors that can be opened to a 12” or 6” height. 6” is the height of the pig rails. Great value for the price and a first time breeder

This was easy to put together, and it wipes down easily.
