After reading the Men of Honor series, I was really looking forward to Logan and Anna's story. For the most part, I was pretty happy with the story.Fairly well edited.We first met Anna in Jaxson's story. She was being held in the same facility as Jaxson, Sawyer, and Cade. As they made their escape, Jaxson made sure to take Anna with them. Since they made it out, Anna and Jaxson have kept in touch. As she began the long process towards healing, she met Logan. They soon became inseparable. However, just as life looked like it would open up for them, a tragedy leads to Logan spending several years away. When he returns, he continues to stay away from Anna - in order to keep her safe and because he doesn't feel that he is good enough for her. It isn't long before Anna and Jaxson find out that Logan is back. What secret is he hiding? Will he be able to keep Anna safe? Will Anna let him keep running from their love?There is quite a bit to Logan's story. Honestly, I couldn't figure out why the guys weren't able to help Logan out of the situation he found himself in. Just because he said to leave things be doesn't mean the adults in his life should have said okay. All in all, I was very happy to finally read their story. Enjoy.

5 Redeeming Stars!I have been a big fan of K.C. Lynn for a long time. With each book, her writing just keeps getting better and better. So, I end up setting the bar higher and higher. With each new book, I think to myself, how can I possibly love another character or story more than her last. And each time, she blows me away. An Act of Redemption is no exception. We previously were introduced to Anna and Logan in the Men of Honor Series. This is their story.“Where are your memories now?” I stare back at him and tell him the truth. “Gone thanks to you.” Relief washes over his expression before he gives me a brief kiss. “Good, I’ll always chase away your demons, baby.” “Maybe one day you will let me chase yours away.” “You do, Anna, just being near you quiets them.”An Act of Redemption is a beautiful story. It is a story about redemption. “You know what I see when I look at you? I see a man who was wrongfully convicted, a boy who fought to protect his sister and most likely saved her life.” “I don’t see an ex-convict, I only see a man of honor.” It a second chance romance that will pull at your heart and not let it go.“God, Anna.” “There might be a lot of s*** in my life I’m uncertain about right now, but not you, baby. As long as I have this, I will always have my place in the world.” “You’ll always have me. Forever.”Anna and Logan’s journey to HEA is a tough one. They both have had some tough cards dealt to them. They’ve been hurt, damaged, lost. They have so much that they have to overcome. And watching them get to that point is a truly amazing thing. Anna and Logan have a love like no other. Anna and Logan’s story is not easy. In fact, their story deals with some tough subject matter, but as always, KC Lynn has handled it in the best way. But, in the end, they just get one another. The faith and trust that they have in one another, allows them to get past the most impossible of situations. And boy do they love each other something fierce. Logan is 100% alpha male. He knows what he wants, and what he wants is Anna. The chemistry between the two of them is scorching, I mean page melting!!An Act of Redemption is an amazing start to the Men of Honor Series. I loved every second of Anna and Logan’s story. It was so easy to get caught up in it. I did not want to put this book down. I was hooked from the first page, loving everything about this story. The plot is so captivating. The characters are tough and real. They are so easy to care about and to relate to. Even the secondary characters can’t help but mean something to you. Especially, our new friend, Sarge. He is such a special character. I hope that we will be seeing more of him in the future. And I don’t know about you, but I love getting to see characters from other books and how they are all connected and have grown.An Act of Redemption totally exceeded my expectations. It made me laugh, swoon, fall in love and stress the heck out. And I loved every minute of it. Anna and Logan’s story hit all the marks for me, giving me everything that I was looking for and more, wrapped up in an amazing tale of redemption. Fans of KC Lynn, you will want to read this one.
