A Casual Collector's Opinion
Batman: Arkham Origins - Series 2: Killer CrocDesign - This Killer Croc is a great version from the Origins game. He's big (close if not at least a foot tall), mean looking, and will look great dwarfing the other DCC characters on your shelf. The only issue I have with the design is there's a very noticeable space between the top of his thighs and the lower half of his body. Standing him straight up makes this very obvious, but putting him in a slightly hunched over pose alleviates this (at least from the front).Paint Job - Pretty good. All the finer details are brought out and the coloration is good. The only imperfections though seem to be that the paint can chip on his scales - especially on the back of the figure.Articulation - Very good for such a large figure. His arms, legs, head, and torso all move and give you numerous options for poses. The only issue I had with Croc's articulation was that the left foot was VERY stiff and stuck in a position that made it impossible for him to stand properly. I had to risk it and put pressure on the joint to loosen it up and for a few seconds I honestly thought I was going to break the figure.Accessories - NONE.Overall - I really like this Killer Croc, he's going to look great amongst the other Batman figures and even though he doesn't come with accessories his mere presence is cool enough. I should also add that I got this figure at a pretty good price, which is unusual for these big deluxe figures.

Not good for play
Cheaply made. Broke very quick. Very limited moveability. Not good for play. He's too large for easy play too. Great looking if your just collecting.

this one looks just like the character
As much of a dissapointment Batman: Arkham Origins was, it did give us something that the previous two games didn't: a Killer Croc boss fight. Not only it was an exciting battle, but it gave us a more appealing design for the character. For those not in the know, Killer Croc is known for changing looks due to physical regression to a more primitive state. Since Origins is a prequel, it stands to reason that Croc has a more humanoid look than in the previous two games. This figure takes that look and translates it perfectly. Unlike other figures in the series that you can see the character they're based on but still look a bit weird, this one looks just like the character, so much that you expect him to talk. The sculpt and textures are great, and the paint job is fantastic. The figure is also really tall. It stands above 10 inches, any six-inch figure is going to reach only a bit above his belly. It looks pretty impressive in any collection. The construction of the figure seems pretty solid. The plastic is sturdy, at least most of it, and tough some articulations might seem stiff at first, they can be easily fixed if you're careful. Speaking of articulation, it's pretty good, but some are better than others. In fact, if there's a negative to this figure, it seems that the top of the figure doesn't seem to have been made by the same people who made the bottom. It's strange, but that's what it feels like: the plastic from the top is way heavier than the bottom's, and it seems more solid. The articulations from the top click in place, which makes it easier to keep the figure in pose, but in the bottom, they're smoother, which makes it harder to stay in pose. This, coupled with the weight difference makes the figure really hard to stand. Once you find the correct pose, though, it'll stay that way and won't fall. It just takes a while to correctly distribute the weight so the figure's center of gravity is properly located. The other minor complaint is that the part where the legs meet the pelvis, there's a very visible gap, making it seem like there's a hole in the figure. It's nothing major, but again, it shows how the figure's bottom design lacked the care the top had.But the negatives are pretty small, and overall unimportant. The positives far outweigh them. I give the figure 4.5/5 stars. But since I can't give half stars, 5 stars it is.

This figure arrived much earlier than expected, which was really nice! The condition of the figure and box was new.The sculpt on the figure is fantastic; perfectly captures the video game likeness. The paint is nearly spot on to the game. It isn't exact but I'm not really complaining because the paint job is really well done especially the blood on this hand wraps! The joints on my particular figure were very difficult to move coming out of the box. I'm not sure if I just have to "break him in" but I carefully moved the joints. It feels pretty solid and I was able to put him into a great pose.He has a little trouble standing because his feet are small and he's top heavy. He may be difficult to stand depending on pose. You may have to lean him against a wall.Overall, I'd recommend this figure to any person who collects DC related figures or who likes the games. I definitely recommend this figure to anyone who wants a Killer Croc figure. This one is probably the best even if it's not based on the source material.
