Dex4 Fast Acting Glucose Liquid Berry Twist 1.8oz (Pack of 6)

I purchased this product from amazon twice in the last few months. The first time I received them, the bottles could not be opened except by a pliers! Really. I have some pretty strong friends and they couldn't open the bottles either. I thought this was a fluke so I stupidly ordered the product again. Really stupid move. Needless to say, this makes the product useless for a diabetic who needs the liquid glucose fast. I will never purchase this again, on amazon or anywhere else.

I purchased these for my daughter who has type one diabetes for when she hits lows (hypoglycemia) during a soccer practice and soccer games. This and Motts juice seem to be the only thing that raises her blood glucose fast enough when she's low. It's allowed her to get back in the game faster. She also really likes the taste of the berry. There is a tropical fruit flavor that she didn't care for. And the liquid gels made her gag.In the store they are 60 cents more. Love being able to get a savings!

Unfortunately I've been type one diabetec for 18 years, so my knowledge of things like this is pretty great, and so far, these are the best liquid glucose shots that I have found. I love taking these to the gym, as if my sugar is dropping, these will quickly put me back to a better level, and the flavor isn't horrendous, which is actually a huge awesome thing that's not to be underrated (because normally they taste terrible!). The price isn't bad for the quantity that you get, so I would recommend picking these up if you or someone you know is type 1 diabetec or has issues with low blood sugar!

It was like 1.40 more in the end than buying from cvs pharmacy store. Came pretty quick and arrived intact. I hate that being a type 1 diabetic requires so much money spent but liquid glucose helps so much when I drop to 52 and feel nauseous and don’t feel like I can drink anymore juice or consume food. It shoots up my numbers back into the 80’s within about 10 minutes and I can feel better.

CANNOT OPEN BOTTLES. WHEN IN DIABETIC CRASH THIS IS CERTAINLY A PROBLEM. DO YOU NOT CARE THAT DEATH OR COMA COULD OCCURR?I truly mean cannot open the bottles with hand or tool. What is your problem. this should definitely not be an issue.

These shots of glucose really work fast. Unfortunately they are really hard to unscrew...especially when half asleep in the middle of the night. Please do something about that. I have to use a rubber gripper pad to get these open.

My daughter cannot use this product due to the wheat source, which we discovered the hard way.

did not like the fact that they are hard to open and have so little liquid in them, not enough tot get my blood sugar up!
