Soleus Air #WA1-02-21A Aqua Sub Easy-load Water Cooler, Black

I spent my time to read many reviews on this particular model. I found three reviews about leaking water, but with the 5-star reviews being so good, I bout the unit anyway. The unit contains small quick-connects for all ends (internal and external) of the water hoses. I made sure to tighten all of the quick connects externally (as per the instructions and troubleshooting guide). When my unit turned on, it began pouring water down the inside of the unit from the very top of the unit where it is fully enclosed. There is no way to explain this except for poor manufacturing and poor QA.

Works good. A little noisy when pumping. But not too bad. Not a bad price. Thought was new but refurbished. Still nice.

I bought this soleus water cooler in black two weeks ago from Frys . It makes noise when pumping but, not that loud. It saves my back and all household member. It taste like plastic in the beginning but, the second time we replace the water bottle. I had to rinse the water line with a few drops of Clorox with water on a gallon container. Now no more problem, the plastic odor is gone.I'm so happy with this product from Soleus Air.empty.

To start off, the water tastes like plastic. I understand that it would take some time for the plastic taste to filter out, but we've been through six 5 gallon waters and it still taste and smells like plastic!Then the hot water switch does not work all the times, it gets jammed or something. We have to give it a few tries before we cam get the hot water out.I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Plugged it in and followed the directions to start. It leaked all over the floor.Second broken water cooler from Amazon within one week.Time to go to Walmart.

I purchased a refurbished unit. It arrived with obvious signs of wear. This did not bother me as I knew that I purchased a refreshed unit and the price ($121.95 shipped) was excellent.The unit heats and cools water VERY quickly. The bottom loading design makes this unit very easy to manage. I like the safety feature on the hot water dispenser. The hot water is very warm so be very careful. I do however wish the cold water was a bit cooler.The first bottle of water had a weird taste. I read the manual which said that this was normal. The subsequent bottles tasted fine.For what I paid, this dispenser is exceptional and I highly recommend it.

We really wanted to replace the standard ugly water cooler with something that had a nicer appearance. This unit seemed to meet that need.The problems all started when it was installed. Firstly, the pump is really loud to fill the tanks, but I expected this would only be during fill operations and not all the time. I never got the chance to find out for sure. Within a minute or so I heard water. I thought I may be hearing the pump filling the tanks but when water started running out on the floor, I knew that was not the case. Opening the cabinet revealed water pouring out of the bottom of the unit where the tanks are located.I bought this at Fry's Electronics but would not recommend it to anyone.

Typically I have to try several times to get the unit to pump the water from the bottle. Just fiddling around with the connection to the bottle seems to do something, but I haven't figured it out.It's significantly noisier and larger than the Primo unit in the office. The buttons, especially the hot water button, are harder to use and feel cheap.The unit stopped heating water after a month and Soleus wants 1/6th of the original cost to replace the unit.
