They are as stretchy as most pants made like these for babies. Easy to pull up and down and fit well over the bodysuit.

Q: How is the fit? Im worried they might be tight like leggings and not have room. Looking at 6-9 month

I wish I could help, I don’t know. These were a gift. I’m sorry, I can tell you they did seem to be more like leggings than regular pants, there was a lot of stretch in them. But they seemed to be made well.
