Had dogs all my life and have tried cheaper ones and other makes, some of the others have actually been dangerous locking when they shouldn’t causing one of my dogs legs getting tangled up at the side of a main road not being able to control it, also cheap lightweight versions I wouldn’t trust.In my experience which is vast you can’t get a better retractable lead than Flexi, extremely robust and unless dropped they are extremely safe and last for years!

Last winter, after tripping up a couple of joggers and a near miss with a moped delivery driver this day glow, sturdy lead is perfect for keeping track of your pesky pooches on dark nights. Also comes in another colour, so Herc has green, and Django gets the yellow! 🐶🐕

Just tried out this new flexi lead...It is 8m rather than the 5m of my previous lead, the extra length is really good and provides easy access to ripening blackberries for a happy dog,..it is cord not ribbon and doesn't tangle like my previous ribbon lead so I don't have to keep stopping to sort out tangles preventing retraction...it doesn't drag on the ground on sheep poo...it locks and retracts smoothly.I have never been a fan of retractable leads but am a convert now, they are ideal for giving a degree of freedom in large spaces like fields of livestock /busy parks where an element of control is essential . I prefer a proper short lead on a road with traffic.The idea combination for a country walk through fields is a Halti face harness and a retractable lead.The Halti prevents the nasty jolt when the dog reaches the end of the lead .

Overall a good product, easy to see, easy to use.

Strong lead no issues

This is the second one I've purchased. Excellent quality product. On the heavy side but not a problem.

This brand of lead was recommended to me by my daughter. I have only had my dog for 2 weeks, and she is very happy now that she can explore a bit further out without me worrying about her coming back. The 8 meters is just the right amount while we are on the doggy field.The colour is very pretty and delicate, more pink than lilac.The 2 options on the buttons are brilliant, with just a press the lead stops extending immediately, then you can either let the button go or slide the other button forward to completely lock the lead, stopping it from extending or retracting.The lead seems to be very safe. My little Wirley is 5kg, I got the small lead as I wanted her to have the 8 meters to be able to explore that little bit further around.I also like that the bottom part of the lead is reflectiveWould highly recommend

I’ve not used it yet but I’m using a cheaper one to see how my dog does on a flexi. This is an excellent product and wanted one with the tape. Highly recommended thank you. I also bought the poo holder to attach.

Super high-quality and works fantastic. Very ergonomic and comfortable to use. Retraction feature works flawlessly. So far, very durable. No disappointments.

I have been using Flexi Retractable Leashes for over 10 years. I own 3, two 26’ lengths and one 16’ length. All function perfectly after long, continued use. One of the most notable things I have found I like best is the smoothness of retractable function. It smoothly extends with next to no pulling needed for my dog. It also retracts smoothly and I will give you an example. On a rainy day my dog, who has a strong dislike of pouring rain, will very quickly run out to take care of his business and then return at warp speed to get back indoors. Some of you might relate. The retractable leash retracts extremely smoothly at the same speed as my dog coming out of the rain. Never had any lag time or tangled cord in the process. This whole smoothness and reliability in extending and retracting is quite remarkable. The Flexi feels good in the hand providing good ergonomics. You always have complete control of your dog under all conditions. As I mentioned, I have had over 10 years experience with the Flexi Retractable Leashes and not a single problem with any of them. Yes there are cheaper retractable leashes on the market but most of the time I find you get what you pay for. There s always a reason you can buy something cheaper and you may well find that out after you pay your money. Take my word for it, you will never regret buying the Flexi brand of retractable leashes.

As expected this leash feels as nice as our older one. Although I find the handle is harder to keep a good grip on, especially with gloves on. It definitely gets scratched and dinged quicker too when it hits the ground. But the lock, retraction and overall use of the Flexi is great, I hope it lasts as well.

Great leash! Our second one! The first one got something on the cord and developed a weird smell. We love this cord. Strong enough to keep our 50 pound dog secure on a walk.
