The battery is a 480 mAH, 3.7V lithium ion battery

Q: How ling do you have to crank to gain 1% on a phone battery?

You must crank the light for 4 minutes to garner 1 minute of talk time, I'm unsure of how much phone percentage this would be, I would assume it would be at least 1%.

No problem. Yes the cord is built to charge itself and the unit does not include a wall charger.

Q: Dorcy website says this flashlight emits 100 lumens of light on high, Amazon description says 30 lumens on high, which is correct?

The flashlight emits a good amount of light at close range. I don't know how to find the measure of lumens. It won't be enough to go cave diving but enough to light up a room if needed. My flashlight isn't letting me down, but haven't needed it in any real emergency or power outage yet.
