Q: Why has dyson limited reviews? i have a very negative review but amazon's message is "this product has limitations on submitting reviews". be warned!

Q: Dose it can work on 220v？

You need a 2000Watt transformer to use it on 220V! Better buying the hairdryer abroad...the transformer is humongous and very expensive...!

Q: Is this worth over 400.00?

Absolutely yes. Time is money. I have thick wavy Asian hair. Just to blow-dry my roots takes 45 minutes with an economic Conair from target, 30 minutes with a babyliss pro, and 15 minutes with Dyson. When possible I like to wash my hair every other day. Dyson I would be saving me up to 2 hours a week. When color processing my hair I could wash and dry up to 6 separate times between pretreat/bleach/color/toner/cut/style, saving up to 3 hours per session every 4-6 weeks. This saves up to 11 hours a month not including other weekly/biweekly hair treatments that require hair drying. Potentially saving minimum 132 hours a year for $400 makes sense to me. If you have mobility, arm, or wrist issues this is worth buying. The weight is in the wire, not the head of the dryer so it's worth noting there's almost no arm fatigue or carpal tunnel wrist pain. My mother is older and gets arm fatigue and wrist pain from styling her hair. I'm buying her a Dyson because she shouldn't have to suffer through long painful grooming sessions.

Q: Small dryers pull my long hair into the air intake (esp. when trying to dry the roots). Does this one pull hair into the intake?

I've had that same problem. This dryer is different. On a normal dryer the intake is on the back part of the dryer on the Dyson it sits on the bottom of the handle (which is longer than a normal dryer) and it sits below your hand at a good distant close to the cord. I haven't had this issue with this dryer not even once.
