Install was easy, but it took two layers of padded tape to secure the mounting bracket. My assumption is the design is intentional to allow for flexibility for multiple bike handles. I have confidence in the phone mounting bracket itself, but release is awkward in my opinion. You must first crank a wheel to extend the arms that hold your device, then press a button on the underside of the phone mount while simultaneously removing the phone. Parts are plastic so time will tell with regard to fit and security. Decent for price point, but i would be be careful not to abuse this mount while transporting your bike.

I’ve been using this mount with my motorcycle for about a year now, and it’s perfect. Easy to install, stable, no difficulties with the phone vibrating and not being able to see, and is very adjustable where it certainly fits most phones.

This is the second mount like this I have purchased. It’s cheap and I love that. I don’t need elaborate. I just need to mount my phone and know it is secure. The first one I bought was around 2013. I still have that one and use it on my bike. The bikes were hiding in storage for a few years but have seen the light of day and are rolling once again. My husband liked mine so much better than what he had that I searched and found him one like mine. It has been just ok. The release button isn’t really working that well and now one of the four arms that is synched down onto the corners of the phone is not always moving with the other three so it has taken a lot of messing about to get it to function properly. The release on the older one is struggling as well but I thought that was from age and for sitting idle. The plus is they do hold the phone securely once I get all for arms in place. I have ridden over pretty rough terrain on my mountain bike (I ride gravel trails, not hard core mountain biking) and have ridden over curbs and the phone hasn’t budged.

I bought this for my motorcycle. It holds the phone well but I’m a little concerned about how the plastic will hold up. Doing okay so far.
