Q: i have a question about Alpine green, if you put it on white hair is it going to be teal? which is not what im going for, im going for a dark emerald.

If you want green hair you have to give your blonde/white a warm tone first. Otherwise it will just turn teal blue.

Alpine green is like the cousin of the color turquoise, except it’s a tad bit on the leafy green side. So you’ve heard right, it’s a mixture of both, which comes out amazing. If you go on google and search alpine green, the images are just about right. It also depends on how light you’re hair gets when you bleach it.

With all semi perm color they will bleed a little (Some more than others aka Manic Panic). A lot has to do with the shape of your hair before coloring. It's the nature of the beast. Some tips to help with bleeding is use a protien filler on your hair after you bleach but before applying color. Use heat to help seal in color when letting the color sit. Wait at least 4 hours while coloring (over night is even better). Use heat again (blow dryer and/or straightener) after you have rinsed you color out, but make sure to always use a hair heat protection product. Make dry powdered shampoo your friend and I recommend dark pillow cases.
