Small springs with low spring constant and no support bar.
I haven't yet used these springs for my physics class Hooke's Law lab, but I was surprised with the small size of the springs and their low spring constant which will require small masses for experimentation. That's all ok, but my biggest disappointment was that the kit does not come with a support bar as implied by the picture. I will have to cobble together something to support the springs for the experiment.

Good for science labs
These springs have a low enough k value (a measure of their stretchiness for the non-scientifically inclined) to get good measurements for studies of simple harmonic motion. Most commercially available springs are too stiff for that purpose, but these worked well.
