You can make excellent invisible repairs.
My first attempt at an invisible repair went well. If you have a selection of colour cottons that will be a useful resource. I cut A number of strands of cotton of the same colour as my wife's dress and laid them in the gap, then I sprinkled a tiny amount of the powder over the threads, laid some grease proof paper on the top and underneath and ironed the repair. You could not tell it had been repaired. On the second repair I was too generous with the powder, and it melted it into a blob. The trick then is to be sparse with the powder. Perhaps the best method would be to get the dining knife to lift out some powder and carefully tap it over the repair, and brush away any excess powder. It would pay to experiment on clothes that do not matter and I am sure a person could become quite expert at an invisible repair.

Great product if you follow the instructions.
Use to repair a small tear in a sofa bed mattress. Worked like magic. Read instructions and watched video a few times. Difficult to see the repair.A good product, lots of powder supplied - although I hope not to have to use it often!

Fabric repair powder
It is good stuff but expensive if doing a big project like sandwitching a quilt

Easy to use
Used to repair a pair of black stretchy pants that I wear for work. I do a lot of kneeling so tend to get holes in the knees. I used some fabric from an old pair of pants and ironed on reverse as per instructions - perfect!

For the rest learn how to sew on a button and the ladder stitch you'll be set for any fabric boo-boos.

Great stuff
Bought this fabric repair powder, used it as discribed with an additional piece of fabric on the inside of the trousers. Very easy to use, and deffinitely does what it says. Finally washed the trousers now by 60 degree, and dried it in the dryer and nothing happened to the repair, all still ok and nothing comes off or loose. Just great stuff.
