Marycrafts Buffalo Horn Mug Beer Beaker Stein, Tumbler Viking Drinking Cup with Handle Medieval Renaissance

So I need to start this off by saying these mugs are pretty awesome. When they first came there was a smell but washing it a few times and then using them made it go away pretty quickly. The customer service was fantastic, one of these mugs came way smaller than the rest and they replaced it with no questions asked which was super awesome. I waited to post this review because I wanted to see how long they lasted. So far the bottom of two of the six mugs have fallen off! Using some crafting glue I was able to put it back together. This break was actually the bottom of the horn between whatever they seal and connect the resin bottom and horn so the horn itself could still hold liquid but didn't have a base. I'm not sure if they sealed it correctly but it looks like the bottom actually swelled and expanded out to push out the base of the mugs. It's really quite a bummer since they are good mugs but it looks sooner or later this may happen. This is also after cleaning it with cold water and only having cold liquids inside of it.

Brother loved it and is using it. Brother said no weird smell and has held up great when drinking his specialty brews!

My fiance has been wanting one of these for a long time. I am so happy with this product. It is well made, has no funky smell whatsoever, no leaks and its beautiful. It was awesome to see his face light up Christmas morning. The only thing I would change is the packaging. A box that opens at both ends is difficult to handle and even harder to wrap.

Vary happy with this glass. I was kind of afraid reading some of the reviews about smell, but I must have got lucky. It's Its really nice. Seems to be sealed well. I haven't used it yet hopefully it holds up.... bottom fell off less than a year later still a good novelty gift

Much better build and the bottom is made of the same horn. Nit rosewood or some other type of rosewood. No wierd smells and cleans easily by hand. No leaks. Looks well constructed.

This was a gift for my brother and he loved it. You can’t beat the price!

Got this as a special gift for my husband's 50th birthday. He loved it. It's very unique, and his friends were veryimpressed with it. I would purchase this again to give as a gift for someone who is a beer drinker or appreciates a uniquely craftedmug. We only tested it with cold beverages, not hot, so can't assess the use with say coffee.
