I bought these for a friend who makes spaghetti pies for all her friends who need a little help in the kitchen. She loves them - they are slightly larger and slightly heavier than the regular weight, so they hold up well to the heavy contents without bending. They also hold a better portion size for an entree rather than a dessert. Probably not "commercial" grade, but very effective for home use - the bottoms seem to be more solidly reinforced with the "star pattern" as opposed to the standard grocery store type.

Okay, I make lots of pies and give them away. These are not thick pie tins so if that is what you need shop elsewhere. That said, they definitely are very usable and great for giving away. I have washed two and re-used them with no problem. But I wouldn't recommend these for multiple re-use. Certainly thrilled I got them and so much cheaper then buying them in small packages at the regular store.

Our youth group makes 100 pies annually; this was my first time trying these, but they will definitely be our go-to from now on. Cheaper than anything you can find in stores, and for a disposable tin, they're a great size/depth and hold up well enough. Some over-enthusiastic teens were able to bend them slightly while drying after washing, but besides that they held their shape well. I'd recommend for pies!

the title says 9in but make sure you always check the true dimensions. In this case you need to check the pictures... These are bigger than 9in so they end up NOT fitting in pie boxes. So in the end they are unusable unless you take the pies out of the pan. Mine are stored away and will most likely end up in the trash. On a commercial level, you don't have that kind of time to find use for weird sized pie pans.
