The pole is about 1 1/2 inches too long. Will have to cut it to size and just hope we can do it right and not damage newly painted wall

The rod was fine, I ordered wrong length.

Delivered in a well packaged box.No damage to product. (I write this because another similar product I ordered came wrapped in just bubble wrap and had a dent, so I returned it and ordered this one.)Easy to install. Looks awesome!

I tried to custom cut the rod, and ended up damaging the end. The rod should not be trimmed. Once installed, it looked good, the flanges hid most of my damage.

Great shower bar just be aware you must cut to length other than that it's easy to install.

I bought this specifically because it SCREWS IN unlike the "extension" kind with rubber stoppers. Why? So that it doesn't FALL if you slip and grab the curtain. This is for a rental property and it happens all the time. So it does this well, and has nice thick mounting hardware that I screwed into the studs of the walls. So that's greatYou likely have to cut the rod to length. I figured a pipe cutter would do well. This tubing is SO THIN that a pipe cutter simply deformed it like an egg. So instead, I used a hack saw. That ALSO deformed it while cutting.Seriously. This tube is so thin, don't ever count on it saving you should you fall and grab the shower curtain. Its contradicts itself. Oh it screws in. BUT its so weak that its pointless.

nice looking rod.flanges seem to be good quality.

I kept buying those screw in shower rods that kept falling off and I could not get them tight enough so gave up and bought a REAL shower rod and like this one much better.

Like many other customers who left reviews, I received this product without the mounting hardware. I initiated a replacement/refund and ended up in a text chat with Amazon customer service. After a bit of negotiating they agreed to give me a 50% discount, which is almost enough for me to get decent flanges. Overall I don't think much of the rod / pipe -- it seems to be of very basic quality and not worth even 50% of the price I paid. But it will do. Caveat emptor.
