Q: Can you use on the counter, or in a sink or tub only?

You could use it on a counter to give sponge/wipe-down baths. It has a nice rubber ring completely covering the base that touches the tub/counter. However, the water will seep straight through the holes and will get water everywhere. It is great in that it air dries quickly which is good for preventing mold. I absolutely love this bath support and if your sink is big enough, it will fit nicely for an easy bath. I would recommend this to anyone! love love loved it.

Q: Is this tub non-toxic (BPA-, phthalate-, pvc-, latex-free)?

The bath support is made with TPE: TPE's are often used for medical applications requiring a PVC-free or non-latex alternative. Custom TPE compounds have been developed to address the need for products that do not contain latex proteins (which may cause allergic reactions), and products that do not contain plasticized PVC; which many healthcare companies have targeted to be replaced. We do not do the test to verify BPA free. Our test results will show that we are below the governmental regulations for BPA limits in the product

I just use it in the regular bathtub, so this is just a guess, but I doubt it, as it is slightly wider/longer at the base. I'd stick with the infant support that goes with the stokke if you need one.

Q: How many months could you use this for? Did it last until the baby could sit in the tub?

You can continue to use this until your baby can sit up on their own without support. My son is 9 months (wearing size 12 months clothes) and still needs a little help when sitting on his own. I still use this bath support but watch him closely if he tries to roll over. This bath support is my most favorite purchase!
