I am so excited about this new cage for our Syrian hamster. If you love your hamster don't buy those colorful tiny cages in pet stores, your hamster will love you more.The cage have plenty of space and I love the ramp and platform what came with it.We putt the food and snacks up there , so he doesn't mess it up.This cage has two large opening doors front and top, it is lightweight for easy handling.Since our hamster moved from his old cage to this new cage he never chew on the wires again, guess he is a happy camper now.Love it and recommend 100%.

Absolutely love this Hamster Home!Our little Jimothy is so much more comfortable in this large cage compared to the one we got from the pet store. The bottom part is about 608 sq inches of space and the platform is about 216 sq inches of space. You can move the platform up and down to leave room for hideouts or wheels if you want to put them above or under. We were able to fit two hideouts, a wheel, a small sand area, several chew toys, food dish, water bottle, some little climbing toys, and he still had tons of space to run around and borrow and explore.It was well packed and secure in the box which I was happy about. Everything came intact and it was easy to assemble. The entire home was extremely sturdy and easy to carry with the two handles at the top. The bars are spaced perfectly. Our hamster loves to climb all over his cage even with all the toys and treat he has so it was nice to see that he was not able escape through the bars.The side and roof door make it easy to clean his home and play with him.

This cage was extremely well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I spent a lot of time unpacking it, but once I got all of the pieces out of the box, the cage itself was simple to put together. It is very durable and a good quality. There is only one safety clip for the front door (which works great). I honestly think there should be two. A hamster could easily climb upside down and push the top door open. My Syrian hamster, Winnie, loves his new home. His 9” wheel fits on the top platform quite well, and I was able to put two different nests for him underneath, in addition to many different enrichment toys, and, of course, water bottles and food bowls. Although he uses the ramp, he would jump off at times (hence, the igloo is accessible for him to step down to, which he does use). I would recommend supervising your hamster to ensure they do not hurt themselves from jumping. Spot cleaning daily underneath the platform is a little more difficult, but the material of the bottom of the cage is easy for deep cleaning. No urine calcifications or anything—it wipes clean easily after one week of urine, which makes it healthy for Winnie. I highly recommend this product. Our cage arrived today and was very easily put together. The directions are clear and you dont need any tools for assembly. This cage is huge and our large Syrian has plenty of room now. When our hamster was given to us, he was in a Kaytee critter trail primary cage. We immediately went to the pet store and bought an additional 2 level Kaytee cage. Our big guy could barely get himself through the tubes. After researching we decided to buy this one and, so far, am very happy to finally give him the space a Syrian hamster needs.

Bought this cage for my dwarf hamster. Best purchase I could have made! I was worried at first about the bar spacing, but as soon as I put her in there I realized there wouldn't be a problem. With the cage I got, the doors were extremely loose. I figured out a way to "lock" them by maneuvering them behind the little metal loops that stick out. This prevents my little hamster from pushing the door(s) open. Because I have a dwarf hamster, I do need to use the platform in order for her to reach a water bottle. I had to train her to use the ramp. She gets up there with no problem at all. If you plan to purchase this cage, make sure you have LOTS of toys and chew toys, and enough bedding to fill the bottom tray. It's definitely bigger than I thought it would be, but my hamster has never been happier!

I purchased this cage for my Syrian hamster because he needed a bigger cage. It was packaged well, and my son and I put it together with little trouble. The only issue we had was some of the metal wires were bent and wouldn't lock into place on the corners. I used some needle nose and was able to fix the problem. My hamster seems happy with his new digs. I attached a pic showing how close together the metal wires are.

Love this cage for my syrian hamster. He is much happier in this than he was in the two story kaytee critter cage i got got his. Exact same one in fact as the other reviewer that added a side by side picture.. i would have given five stars but one of the bars on the cage was not welded. It was flapping around, but my husband fixed it:) i would definitely recommenthis cage to anyone having a hard time finding a good size cage for your hammy that doesnt have big spaced bars!!

I’ve never written an official review on anything before but, today I am unbelievably impressed with this cage. My Syrian hamster, Belle, was in the cage we bought when i first brought her home. She was small so I had time to upgrade. Now that I’ve had her a few months I wanted to make sure she was happy and safe. This cage is absolutely perfect for her.The only worry I have for this cage is that it’s very very tall. My hammy loves to climb.But by far this cage is decently priced especially for the care that the company makes to make sure you get this all in one piece.

Perfect for Large Panda Bear Hamster ! We moved our adopted hamster in yesterday and he absolutely loves it !He loves to dig and bury himself, and immediately went and cocooned himself in his house .The base is flat and doesn’t have the dimpled bottom that some cages come with - which makes it very easy to wipe clean . Corners are rounded with tall walls - which makes it difficult for the little critter to chew out .Probably not a bad idea to have a pair of good plyers handy with assembling as my cage came with some of the individual prongs bent that hold the walls together .Lots of room for accessories and toys .Second level easily for a 9” wheel .It is a very large cage and very roomy . I have attached a picture comparison of the cage he came in vs his new accommodations :)I do recommend a large setup for your little friend as they do like to roam, dig, and explore .

Easy to assemble (only took about 20 mins - no tools required); the bars are bendy and weak so be wary of that, but considering the low price that's not a big deal. The size is more than adequate for a Syrian hamster (my 12 lb cat fits in it comfortably), and it fits a 12in wheel easily. I like that the shelf isn't so high that if a hamster fell off, he would be injured. The cage doors are a little loose, so I use clips to hold them in place. Overall, happy with the product.

Bought for a teddy bear hamster (which I think is truely named Syrian hamster) as he’s bigger than the smaller breed hamsters. And had barely any room in the first cage we bought him when there is an exersize wheel and house he can fit in in the cage. This cage is true to the reviews - it is great. Size would fit a amall guinea pig but bar spacing allows a cute little hamster so have delux room to roam and a second level which we use as the play area (so far). Perfect for the bigger breed hamster I have. Who is on the longer side. Would strongly recommend this to anyone getting a hamster or new cage. Worth the money considering I spent 3/4 the amount on the much smaller cage that didn’t allow him a top level.There was 1 or 2 bars that looked *slightly* warped, and I mean slightly. I couldn’t get a picture even that showed it correctly. This seems to have no effect at n the design or use of the cage. It also came packed really well. Unnecessarily well lol.It came with a detachable “locking device”. It falls off every time u open the cage. Easily fixed I think by pinching the clamps closed so it stays on the bars. Love this cage.All in all 5 star review. Wow.

Easy to assemble with provided instructions. Lots of space for syrian hamster. The second level is very convenient in that it not only adds a second level but also provides a little dark area for the hamster to hang out in. He loves it! It also fits a 12 inch Silent Spinner wheel comfortably as well as a glass water bottle attached to the caged walls.Some parts of the wired cage were a bit warped though so I couldn't perfectly lock the pieces in place.Good nonetheless. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who wants a wired cage.

After a month of research online I decided to purchase this cage. Delivery came in a week, was incredibly well-packed, and set up in 15 minutes. Probably one of the largest Hamster cages available, I cannot say anything negative about this item at all. So well built, with lots of space for any large type of exercise wheel. (I bought a 9"). Your Hamster will get so much room to run around in, with extra space for toys, food, etc. Well done Prevue Pet Products....this cage went beyond my expectations and my Hamster lives in a "heavenly" space!
