So close to a perfect product, I'm borderline on a 4 or 5 star rating.
So far I've only used it rear facing, and the install was SO easy! It's a very convenient and comfortable product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because tightening the straps when the child is in place is a little bit of a struggle. To be honest I would have given this a 4.5 star rating, because it's still a really nice product.

Need to improve Harness, straps and buckel connectors
I had really high hopes for this car seat but the straps around the buckle are got tangled so bad that I never figured out how to "fix it". I spent 1 hour trying to untangle the strap so it would buckle correctly and I never figured it out. I am almost starting to think that I go a defect one. I am so disappointed because the time I used get the car seat from, figure out the straps and return the item to the store, is time I could have used to spend time with my kids. The reclining feature is very hard to adjust. I had to use extra force and my body weight to adjust reclining positions on a flat floor in my living room (I weigh 170lbs, about 5'8 and do cardio regularly). The only good thing about this car seat is that the height was easy to adjust. When the carseat was on my living room floor (which is leveled) the carseat wasn't leveled, which I find it weird and concerning. The manual says to use a rolled towel that's another inconvenience.I'm not bashing Graco, I have an infant snugride from 2010 and it's works great and the straps don't get tangled easily. I think their new buckling system is designed very poorly.

Love it!
Instead of buying a booster seat for my 4 year old son, I just bought this seat to replace his last carseat. which was the Myride 65, which i also LOVED very much and i almost just bought another one like it (but newer), but decided to try something different, so i went with this "My size 70". I chose to buy another convertible carseat instead of a booster seat, b/c i am not comfortable yet with using a regular seat-belt. I want to use a harness for as long as possible on my kids, AND i don't want his head flopping forward when he sleeps, because i HATE that. His height and weight fit in the recommendations for this particular seat, and will for at least another 2 years, so i am very happy with this, plus, he is able to easily get in and out on his own where, with my last seat i had to pick him up and put him in it b/c it was so high (but i still loved that last seat) :)

Graco Car Seat
I purchased a Graco Comfort Sport Model # 1761383 about 2 years ago. The car seat is good till Dec 2017 except for the recall on the Buckles?? I have called Graco , filled out the form on their web site and responded to their emails. I haven't received my replacement parts and don't think I will. This company doesn't stand behind their product!!!!! I am a Grandmother so this seat wasn't used hard at all. The buckles don't need cleaning just need to be replaced. Mine won't fasten very easy, you have to push real hard and the recall says they are hard to get unfastened. That could end up being very serious and they don't seem interested in replacing mine. I will never buy the Graco brand again. This is a warning to all parents and Grandparents!!

Great Forward Facing, a little awkward Rear Facing
We bought a couple other convertible car seats and ended up returning them for various reasons before we went with the My Size 70. We didn't use this seat long rear-facing. It was awkward to install rear facing and takes up a lot of space. (But it was the same issue with other convertible car seats we tried). Forward-Facing, this car seat is great. My son went from being super fussy in the car rear facing in his baby carrier to being great in the car with this car seat forward facing. So it seems to be comfortable for my son. (Rear-facing he liked it more than the baby carrier but still wasn’t much of a fan).I think it's pretty easy to install. The clips that attach to the anchors have a buckle like mechanism so it's super easy to take the car seat out and pretty easy to put it back in. (Comparatively I mean because car seats are a pain in general). This car seat adjusts easily. You can easily raise the back and therefore the shoulder straps by grabbing and pulling up on the red handle on the top of the car seat. You can also change how it reclines with the red handle on the bottom of the seat. One thing to note is that if you have the car seat installed rear-facing, tightening and loosening the straps is a nightmare. The strap you have to pull on the tighten everything is right up against your vehicles' seat so it's hard to pull and it's hard to access the mechanism to loosen it as well. But again once you have it forward facing, it's easy to access. We've had this car seat for a year now and it still looks good and works great. There was a recall on the buckle. The recall notice said that it’s possible that the buckle could get stuck basically if it’s gunked up with food or something but that there was no risk of it coming unbuckled. Ours still worked with no issues so even though they sent us a new buckle with a slightly different design, I haven’t yet put it on.We have another son that is nearing the age of needing a convertible car seat and I will probably go with this one again. I was surprised that it was much more expensive on Amazon than it is a Babies-r-us but it looks like it’s sold by a 3rd party and not by Amazon.
