Purchased for maple syrup and recently bought another one for our homemade berry syrup. It's easy to use, even for the kids. It doesn't drip much and if there is an occasional drip, (remember, I said kids) it's easy to wipe clean. It's very thick, sturdy glass and goes from the dishwasher to the table as needed. This is like the traditional pancake house syrup bottle what many of us know and are accustomed to-almost nostalgic design. My only wish is that it came with different color options for the lid. Highly recommend.

I had my doubts about the durability of the plastic lid but for less than $10, I gave it a try.It works like a charm with maple syrup. No dripping, no running down the side and the rate of pour is up to you. I fill it about half way so that warming it in the microwave (with the lid removed) only takes about 20 - 25 seconds coming directly from the fridge. Has been refilled several times, no problems with it yet. Since the top of the container is narrow and the lid has some limited access areas. ( area housing the lid spring? ) it takes a minute to clean but hot water and a sponge worked. I could not find definitive information about BPA in the lid but given the very limited contact it has with the syrup, I don't view it as a problem. So far, it is well worth what I paid. If it happens to break in the near future, I will update the review.

Great little syrup dispenser for homemade syrup, until it cracked when I poured hot syrup into it. My fault, but stronger glass would have been helpful. I've always poured hot syrup into jars before. I'm ordering one with thicker glass. Twice the price but hopefully lasts longer than 3 weeks.

This works well with no drips. I take the lid off to warm the syrup in the microwave. About 35 seconds.

Very happy with these little pitchers. They are a little expensive but worth it to not leak all over my cabinet. The lid functions well and does not drip. I have not washed them yet so I can’t speak to how the lid will fit after washing.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I make my own syrups and these are so nice. I love the size and ease of use

This jar might be ok for syrup such as pancake but I purchased it for honey. Evidently honey is a lot thicker than syrup and it becomes a lot harder to pull back the opening to dispense the honey. There's really nothing wrong with the jar as long as you use it for what's it made for. I don't think that they should be advertising it for a honey dispenser.
