Mauzari Tooled Leather Shoulder Bag Tote for Women

I first saw this bag on the Sundance website and fell in love with it. Of course it sold out literally 24 hours before I finally decided to buy it…I’d been waiting for it to go on sale, and apparently so had everyone else. :)))So I felt really fortunate to have found the name of the maker and I decided to buy the bag from a buyer on eBay…who then never shipped it…ughhhh!!!Finally I landed here and discovered the bag again, with three more color options…wow! Which then meant I had to spend a few days debating which color was my favorite. It’s been a real journey, right? :))I ultimately selected honey and have zero complaints—it’s a warm, delicious brown with yellow undertones and I can’t really do it justice trying to describe it. It’s very, very pretty and has the intricate, high quality hand tooling on *both* sides, which is wonderful…none of that “make sure I have the right side facing the world” dilemma every time I carry it. ;)It’s a very spacious tote but not bigger than an average tote. I’m very short but feel comfortable carrying it—it doesn’t overwhelm me. The details are fabulous—whip stitched edges, folded leather handles, heavy (brass?) hardware. It’s the kind of bag you’d expect to find in an upscale store in Oaxaca or Mexico City, but without the travel. I truly love it and feel happy every time I use it.Someone said the bag is heavy but honestly, it’s surprisingly light for the size and quality of the tote. I have canvas LV bags that are smaller and far heavier.This is an excellent bag for summer and could easily hold mostly everything you’d want to bring to say, a pool party, or the beach, but it’s also equally stylish with a warm-toned, fall-inspired outfit and your favorite boots. Fantastic bag. I’m very much enjoying it. It also strongly smells of leather in the best way possible!!

I love everything about this bag, it's a little heavy but it's real leather. Nicely lined too. My only complaint would be the hardware (metal rings that hold the straps) they don't hold up and I've had to replace them from an online company since I couldn't find a place in town that carries this heavy duty hardware.Other than that, I've conditioned the leather and this piece will be great for years to come. I'm sorry, I have a few "high-end" bags that I paid twice as much for and this bag surpasses them all. I commonly get stopped when I'm out shopping, dining, even taking my car to be serviced, and complimented from both men and women on the beauty of this bag and the craftsmanship. I will be purchasing more from this company...I already have 2 other bags with the matching wallets. Great company, well done!

I have had this purse for a few months now, and get compliments on it every time I carry it. It's a nice "tote"/briefcase size, which I like on days I have to carry a bunch of stuff and don't want to worry about having to fit everything "just so" in a smaller bag. It's comfortable over my shoulder, and I'm not somebody with petite arms. The workmanship is insanely nice--and what a treat to buy something that reflects true craftsmanship "like in the old days." I'm certain this will be my go-to bag for decades--literally! I have a style (if you could also it that! LOL) that’s sort of Western-inspired/Old California/ranchy, so this couldn't be better for me. All of my girlfriends immediately commented that it is just perfectly "me"--which I love. Who wants to be cookie-cutter??? BORING. This is something different, but a classic at the same time. The only thing I sort of wish were different about it is the color, which is a little too orange than I’d ideally like, but I seriously love the bag so much, I can overlook that. I think this will age really well, and (as with pretty much all leather goods) only look better with time and wear. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AWESOME BAG.

Bag arrived in perfect condition. It is large and heavy which is what I prefer. The color is deep burgundy and the embossing is deep and unique. It does have a strong leather odor that I don’t mind, but if you don’t like strong odors it is something to be aware of. I love this bag and am very happy with it.

When my husband says it's the most beautiful handbag I own you know it is! (Frankly, didn't know he would even notice if I was carrying a burlap sack!) Love the fact that it is tooled on both sides of the bag, love the whip stitching, love the leather smell. It was a splurge$$$ for me but is well worth it as anticipate it will be carried and enjoyed for years to come. Get it....you deserve it!

The only thing to dislike is that it is a bit heavy but it's a big bag. I love it! One comment I read was that it smells like leather....UMMM YUP it does but it's delightful!! The quality is amazing. I never spend money like this on myself but I am so happy I did! Happy Birthday to meeeee!

Love EVERYTHING about this beautiful purse! It's a very large tote so it will hold a lot of items. Could even consider it a weekender bag. The smell is absolutely wonderful. The workmanship is top notch. I receive compliments all the time. Looking forward to ordering more! Ps...make an in-between purse (in other words, smaller than the large tote) tooled on both sides. I'd buy it!!!
