I can't speak for the breathe freshening properties, but my husband, who has had increasingly severe spring and fall allergies has greatly reduced symptoms this spring. In previous years he has had to forgo his daily walks this time of year, and we've had to keep the windows shut when I would have loved a refreshing breeze blowing in on nice days. While he still has minor symptoms, they are entirely manageable with the addition of an occasional nasal spray. These lozenges are the only change we have made this year, so I can't think of anything except this product to attribute the improvement to.He lets one slowly dissolve in his mouth faithfully twice a day, as directed. I just went back and ordered another bottle.Regarding the issue of bad breathe, it can have more than one cause, so I think isolating the cause has to come before treating it.Update 3/3/17. I love that this is available, assuming it works. I had to take a round of antibiotics to kill a sore throat after being insanely sick with a cold that had me coughing for two weeks solid. So then I wanted to try and repopulate what the antibiotics killed wherever I could... gut, mouth, snout. Easier to find the little probio critters for the gut and mouth (as in dental), but this was the only one I could find with ear and nose cultures...ie, that might also fend off sinus infections. Since using these I did get one other cold within a month of starting this (it was just a bad year for colds... I am normally a one cold every two years person, so to get two within a couple of months of each other was just crazy, not to mention that the one lasted twice as long as my usual cold), but no sinus infection followed, thank god. So maybe these pills helped. I have never had a sinus infection, and I hope am not a candidate for one, but after that first horrible cold, and then the antibiotics, I was afraid I had set myself up. From what I have heard about sinus infections... basically that you get one, it will plague you for years... I will try anything to steer clear of them... hence the purchase of these pills. I gave 4 stars and not 5 only because... sheesh, I have no PROOF that they work, but can at least say "no sinus infection so far".

I have halitosis, so I thought this would help but it didnt.I could imagine it wouldve worked for people with mild bad dreath. If your a woman you may get thick discharge and an itch

This stuff works for me. I take it when travelling (helps block those airplane colds) and when lecturing (blocks those student colds). I take it at the first sign of a cold (itchy throat) and it usually goes away, or clears up quickly.

When I feel another coughing attack coming on, I keep one of these under my tonque. It makes a real difference.
