Although I have been sort happy with the shoes I already have (Bloch
I have been trying many brands of shoes for dance fitness / Zumba for several years. Although I have been sort happy with the shoes I already have (Bloch, Reebok, Nene's, etc), I really wanted to continue my search until I find a better fit for me. I recently bought this pair and I feel my search is over! My foot is narrow overall with very long toes (especially my middle toes are the longest, monkey toes!); I have very high and strong arch. I also wanted shoes with dance-friendly soles like Bloch and Nene's. My favorite Blochs do not have the ankle support, and my Nene's have too wide toe box. This Capezio Fierce Dance sneakers solved these. They are not wide in toe box and heel. They have good ankle support without being too bulky. They are very light. As most dance shoes companies, the sizing is small, so you need to order at least 1.5 sizes larger than your street shoes. My street shoe / sandal size is 7, my running shoe size is 8.5-9. My bloch dance sneakers are size 8.5, so I ordered Capezio 8.5 as well, and they are perfect.

Great Zumba Shoe!
I take Zumba classes almost daily and because I tend to have extremely flexible feet, not all sneakers work for me and I find I need to take excessive breaks during my workout due to uncomfortable shoes and/or numbing toes. After trying most tried and proven workout sneakers, I spotted someone in my class with similar issues wearing a dance/hip hop shoe like this one where the piece in the middle is flexible. I came across this shoe on your website and immediately ordered them. Not only was it made by a trusted company, but the price was amazing and not bad on the eyes!I have already used them many times and there was no need to break them in at all. I am totally impressed with the performance of this shoe. I didn't have to take any breaks during my routine and found I was able to pull off all of the Zumba moves with great ease and speed which is something I find difficult to do with a sneaker.I usually take between an 8 and 8.5 in woman's shoe depending on the material and quality of the shoe so I went ahead and ordered a 9 in this shoe and it fit perfectly! I like that it came with an extra pair of shoe laces in gray which allowed me to change my look. Would definitely recommend this shoe to anyone who has similar issues and enjoy a dance routine as a workout. It doesn't disappoint and as a matter of fact, I'm thinking of buying an extra pair so that I never have to go without. Although the shoe itself looks and feels quite durable and can take a beating.Vickie from NJ

Good shoes
I haven't used them all that much so I can't comment on how durable they are but I bought them for line dancing. They're very comfortable. I upsized a size and they fit well.

1st dance class - comfortable without breaking in!
I needed white dance sneakers for an upcoming event. I usually wear Sansha Skazz shoes (good quality but better pricing than Capezio and Bloch), and after much trial and error know my shoe size there, but they didn't have a shoe I wanted in white, so these Capezios were my choice.I know each brand is different, and that was my biggest worry - having time to find the right size and make sure they were comfortable before my all-day line dance event next month. I compiled sizing information from all the reviews for this Capezio sneaker. I wear an 8.5 street shoe, 9 athletic shoe, and most recommendations from others with similar sizing were for 9.5 or 10. I was leaning towards the 9.5, especially since my foot is narrow, and at the time I ordered the 10 was out of stock, so my choice was made, and fingers crossed! The 9.5 fit me PERFECTLY. I wear a thin sock for dance - I would say if you wear heavier socks and/or your feet are wider, the 10 would be your better choice.I wore them for a few hours just walking around the house after receiving them to make sure they didn't rub anywhere, and today I had my first full Soul Line Dance class in them, and they were SO comfortable. The pivot point is slightly off from my other shoes so that took a moment's getting used to, but I could spin, glide and turn with ease.

Great for line dancing!
I bought the Capezio Women's DS11 Fierce Dance Sneaker about a month ago to wear for line dancing and I'm so glad I did! My knees hardly ever hurt like they used to when I danced in my cowboy boots. My feet still hurt after a couple of hours of dancing but that might be something to be expected regardless of the shoe, I'm not sure. The sizing seems odd to me though. Normally I wear a 7 or 7-1/2, and after a bit of trial and error it ended up that size 8-1/2 worked for me so please be aware that you probably won't be able to fit into them if you order your regular street shoe size. I recommend that you make sure the seller allows returns and order two pairs - one being a size larger than usual and the other 1-1/2 sizes larger - and then return the one that doesn't fit as well.

Did the Sizing Change on These?
I ordered an 8.5 because I wear an 8 in athletic shoe. The width was fine, but the toe box was too long. So, I exchanged for a size 8. Those shoes ended up being too narrow and tight in the toe box.I pulled out an old size 8 Capezio which I was looking to replace. The toe box on the newer shoes was definitely narrower. Not sure what to buy now. I need to replace my old size 8s. They did hold up for several years though. If you can manage to find the right size, it's a great shoe.

Great Shoe - I went up one-half of a size
This show is perfect for my Zumba. I wear a 7 street shoe, but a 9 in all athletic / running shoes. The 9 in this shoe was too small so I went to a 9.5 and it fit perfect. It's easy to turn, great support, yet shoe is flexible. I 'm new at Zumba but have done other fitness type dancing and would be able to use this shoe for those as well.
