Works Amazoning and so easy to use.
This pill grinder works great. I put one tylonal in it and it turned it to dust. It say not to fill it over 2/3 full. That would be a lot of pills. We are doing 10-15 pill at a time and it works great. Doesn’t even take 30 seconds to be ground completely. It will even grind up capsules Thank you this helped us so much.

Works great and saves time
My son has autism and the only way he will take his medication is to crush his pills and add apple juice, so this is so much easier than using the handheld twist crusher.

Works great some issues I’ve explained
I read so many reviews on all the electric pill cutters & there were a lot of negatives. I need to crush pills 4-5 times a day. I use the screw top grinder which does not get them smooth enough. The mortar & pestal which works but crushed meds remain on the pestal in the mortar so get on my thumb or brush to get the rest out. Now I tried this electric model. It does grind the pills quickly. NOTE: for those who wrote there is powder everywhere, it says run for 45 seconds at a time. You get powder when you are running it too long a once. The pills crush quickly so you do not need to keep it running. I did find that powder remained on the top plastic cover & inside the walls of the machine. I use the brush (if you did not get a brush someone took it-you need it) to wipe the inside of the plastic top & the inside of the metal cutting machine. However, almost nothing comes off of the brush for those who are upset they are not getting allOf their meds. This grinds well enough for people that are using GI(Gastroenology tubes). But , for me some meds still need to be crushed to a finer powder so I use the pestal from my mortar kit. I also do not get everything from all the meds ie the powder in the air, powder on the brush or powder in the cutter). That was my result. I am going to keep this & use it when I have more meds at one time to crush & for large diabetic pills. Also, I do think this is an expensive gadget.

Trick to making it work
Update…bad rubber seal. It came off without me knowing it and dropped into the container. When I crushed the pills, it also pulverized the seal taking a piece off and breaking it. I had to throw away about 7 pills. I wish I could just replace the rubber seal because it still works; unfortunately the powdered pills escape and make a mess on outside and onto the counter losing some of the medication.Unfortunately, I recommend not buying this product which is a shame because it does a great job otherwise.I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to help others who may be having trouble with their electric pill crusher. I was so looking forward to this. Recently my husband got a peg tube and I had to crush multiple pills in a manual crusher. Many were difficult to crush and took lots of effort. When I first tried the electric pull crusher, it worked and I was so happy. However, I went to use it again, and it wouldn’t work. I unplugged it, took off the lids, tried again, and nothing. I became frustrated and walked away, trying it again later. This time it worked. I thought maybe there was a short in it. When I went to use it again the following morning it wouldn’t work. I took it apart and put it back together, and tried again. Nothing happened. I was about to return it and get a refund, but thought I’d try it again later. This time it worked. Hmmm….after trial and error, I found that when I push down on the middle of the lid with my palm, it won’t work, but if I push down towards the back of the lid, it works.

Great concept but falls short
I was so excited to get this item so I could use it for my dogs vitamins. The pills I crush are about the size of a penny. If I put too many in the crusher, the blade will get stuck, so I only do about 7 at a time. It does a good job of pulverizing the pills into a fine dust. Some of the dust leaks out of the container. I would love to be able to do more than 7 at a time, but this gadget will not do it. I still prefer it to crushing it by hand every day.UPDATE: The seller has contacted me and has taken steps to help rectify the issue. This seller has excellent customer service which is why I am updating my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Perfect!
I am totally satisfied with this product. I need to crush all my pills and feed via a stomach tube. Manual pill grinders just don’t grind the pills enough and hard to operate at my age. This electric grinder is perfect. One must operate it in small bursts of 7-10 seconds each. Only 2-3 such bursts are needed. Then let it stand for 5 minutes to allow “dust” to settle. After that, open the lid and remove the powder with the spoon and brush provided. That’s it! Perfect!

Surprisingly great
We had a couple of grinders previous to this pulverizer. They were about $300 apiece. I kind of turned my nose up at the idea that this inexpensive unit would do the job. Even after we got it I looked at it and said there’s no way that it would even touch a pill. We do one or two pills at a time to pulverize and put in a water solution to use in a syringe in my sons feeding tube. But once we used this we realized that it does pulverize the pills well and fits the bill. Does not have batteries that will need replacement and is very light compared to the other units. Previous units had batteries that went out of currency and you could not find them anywhere , even on medical supply sites. That in turn, gives you a $300 boat anchor. This unit plugs right into the wall and does away with battery problems. I am an electronic tech and was going to solder together rechargeable batteries, but for 1/10 price this is a lifesaver. Additionally it is very light and will travel better than the heavy grinder that we had before. You can buy more souvenirs to bring home with you because it’s so light.

Great buzz if you're grinding pain killers!
The gasket fell off when I took the lid off for the first time. It pulverizes into such a fine powder that it floats into the air when you take the lid off, so part of the dose is lost. But somehow it still leaves some unground pieces in the bottom so I still have to crush those manually. AND the electric cord disconnects every time you move it.I bought this to make my life a little easier, not more aggravating. Didn't help. Sending it back.
