very good stage piano
I've had a number of keyboards through the years - very first was a Rhodes. I bought a Kurzweil PC88MX about 25 years ago and have always liked it. I currently have a Kawai MP-6 and Casio PX560 along with the PC88 and Forte SE that I just bought. Just sold a Yamaha MOX8 - so, haven't tried all the keyboards out there but my fair share - have also bought and sold a Korg and a couple of other Yamahas. Had recently tried out the Kawai MP11SE and Roland RD2000 and thought I had narrowed it down to those two - but started looking at Kurzweil again. I've always loved the PC88 sounds and kept going back to it. I read some positive reviews of the Forte SE and decided to give it a shot. I'm very glad I did! The sounds, especially the pianos, are very good. The key action isn't the same as Kawai or Roland, not as realistic, but still very good. I can play as expressively as needed and for rapid note repetition it works very well.
