WARN 97550 9.5cti Series 12V Electric Winch with Steel Cable Rope: 5/16" Diameter x 125' Length, 4.75 Ton (9,500 lb) Pulling Capacity

This thing is great at pulling Toyota's out of mud holes. It looks great on the front of my Jeep mounted in a AEV front bumper. It has power for days and I haven't had it overheat even on very long pulls.

This will eventually get moisture inside the gear case, just like every winch, no matter if you have a cover or not. Its an awesome winch- no doubt, its paid for itself many times over. But after 2-3 years, you are definitely going to feel the freespool lever tighten and seize up, meaning the gearcase grease has gotten water in it and the grease is no longer as greasy.

So far have only used it once, but was money well spent. Seems to be well made, remote doesn't seem to fit as tight as it should at plug on winch it self.

Awesome winch, there is nothing wrong. I only regret that for half the price, I could have gotten another super winch instead, and have some spare money for headlights.

Worked with ease already used it twice to help pull out my friends who where stuck easy to use powerful and seemed to do everything with ease.

This winch came on a '97 TJ I bought last summer. Very trustworthy name and winch. My only issue is the line speed, it's way too fast and after letting off of the switch oon light pulls it still spools a little bit. But, not enough to cause any issues. If your respooling line to get the cable even on the drum; you just got to get to know the winch, because it will spool a lot if no load is on it. Winch time for 136 amp alt pulling TJ from a mud hole was about 15 seconds on 30 seconds off. Drum did not feel too hot during load and unloaded pulls.
