Q: Does the electric heat the water too, or is it used just to pump it?

Hi Pete, Thanks for reaching out! The battery in the RinseKit PRO is only used to power the unit. For hot water on the go, you can fill the tank of the PRO with water up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure to stay tuned, a heater for the PRO will be coming soon.

Q: Can you leave this with water in the back of a car for extended period of time?

I would not recommend leaving water in the unit for an extended period of time. I have a 7 gallon container that I picked up from Walmart. I rotate that water and fill my Rinse Kit.

Q: I have very hard water. Can this be used in this unit or do I have to use distilled water?

Hi there! You can pour any liquid into the RinseKit! If you are afraid of build up inside the unit, we recommend cleaning the RinseKit out after a few uses. To do this, pour cleaning solution into the RinseKit and let it flow through the system. Rinse it out with clean water after to make sure all chemicals have been washed out, and you're good to go!

Q: Why is these a small hole in the front (a few inches below the P in Pro)?

Thank you for reaching out to us! The hole you are referring to was intentionally placed there so that any water that slips in between the tank and bucket can drain properly.
