South Street Designs Replacement Plunger Seal for Aerobie AeroPress Coffee Maker (1 pc)

Having 2 aeropresses which are regularly in use, meant that the original of these were getting well worn.Found these replacement items which fit perfectly and now the 'presses are back working like new.In reality, these plunger seals are about the only part of the Aeropress that could possibly wear out.I would highly recommend these items. 👌This was dispatched and delivered very quickly, so I've no hesitation in recommending this seller.🍀🐺🍀

I used this to replace my original rubber seal as I hadn't used the Aeropress in a long time. The original rubber was looking pretty sad, so it had to go. This low cost rubber end for the plunger fits perfectly and has breathed a new lease of life into my Aeropress! I am very happy with it.

A perfect-fit replacement for a worn out Aeropress plunger.This feels a little harder and less rubbery compared to the original plunger that had lost the ability to seal effectively to facilitate the forcing of hot water then air through the coffee grounds. However, it performs its task faultlessly and restores the coffee produced to tip top level. It takes a little effort to prise off the old plunger ( I used a robust tea spoon for this) but the new one pressed on with ease. Mine was under four quid with Prime delivery so I'm a happy caffeinated bunny. ☆☆☆☆

Works really well as a replacement for the seal on my Aeropress that had worn out. Nicely packaged + half the price of an OEM replacement part.

I took a punt on this as it was half the price of a replacement from AeroPress. I was nearly put off by one of the reviews that stated it was made from rubber. It's not. It's obviously silicone and it fits firmly in the brew chamber, exactly what I needed. I can't prove if this (or the original rubber AeroPress plunger) leeches anything into hot water, but it will never be submerged as I no longer brew using the inverted method since buying a Fellow Prismo. I have taken some pictures of the product that I received, along with a couple of comparison pictures featuring the original AeroPress rubber plunger that had to be replaced due to wear. Amazing product, I can't believe it took me so long to realise a replacement existed.I have 3 aeropress, I kept buying them as the bung thing stopped working properly.I bought 2 of these now, they honestly work fantastically.I will keep buying them
