Great for cats and dog digestive
It works great . My cat was having alot of issues using the bathroom. The vet recommend this pills and the fiber is what she was missing in her diet so now she goes daily . I give it to her every two days or at least once a week .

Works Really Well When Needed!
I ordered these to use for two of my cats-- one is a senior girl who needed more fiber in her diet. I started seeing improvement in her between days 7-14. The other cat was a foster turned foster-fail, these didn't work for him, but it turns out he had mediastinal lymphoma brewing the entire time, and we just didn't see it in his bloodwork or stool samples. (RIP Alabon). These are great for the price point and more affordable than the Rx food that I originally started to buy for my senior gal- easier to give to her separately too! Shoutout to my local non-profit spay/neuter vet for recommending these to me :)

Same stuff I use for fiber
That husk stuff is some serious fiber and works well to flush your bowels. I use a human oriented version. Manufactured in Canada it gives me much peace of mind over some other countries.Flavorless is big for house pets as their palettes get accustomed to flavors they like or don’t like.Used to help give my mini tiger some fiber over other brands that use apples because the cyanide from apple seeds were too much of a worry for me. This husk is much better due to the simple ingredients and no questionable fiber sources. My mini tiger deserves the best!Mixed with some wet food, first I only used half a cap to test my mini tigers response and reaction. It didn’t matter to him he devoured his fancy canned food! (Tiki cat for breakfast and reveal for dinner) He took a nice big dookie!

This, plus hydration, has made a world of difference!
When the cat food brand we get for my cats removed all grain from their wet & dry formula, both my two cats started experiencing constipation. I found this supplement and immediately began 1. giving each cat half of a capsule in the morning and half at night, and 2. adding slowly adding water to both their wet & dry food. This has worked wonders. The constipation went away very quickly. And nagging issues that both cats have had since they were young (one cat with dandruff, the other with itchy inflamed ears with daily wax buidup that I had to clean almost daily, and a gross anal gland discharge issue [yes cats get this too, not just dogs, and fiber & water help so much!]) went away too and has never come back. The anal discharge problem is one that is difficult to solve in cats and having a vet express the gland can make the problem worse because it can damage the gland. Little did I know that adding bulk to their stool with fiber & water would make this go away for good. I strongly recommend looking up hydration for your cat's weight and very very slowly adding more and more water to their food until they are getting the recommended daily amount each day for their body weight. This is going to help you avoid kidney disease too, which apparently 1 in 3 senior cats have. I use a scale to weigh the water so that I could increase it by a few grams each week to get them aclimated to the change. I add few of their favorite treats to their food to encourage them to finish it up. .My cats are so much healthier & happier now!

extra unnecessary ingredients
My cat reacted badly to this. It took me a while, but I found out why. The ingredients inside the capsule are not just psyllium. Apparently, the barley malt and the gelatin (with unknow sourcing) are in the contents of the capsule. I had thought the barley and gelatin were capsule components. If the capsule was made of those ingredients the label would be different; it would read:Psyllium seed husk, capsule (gelatin, barley malt extract, water, magnesium stearate). As far as I can tell these ingredients are not only unnecessary for GI support but can be allergens. Especially the barley and gelatin.Don't give this to a cat with food sensitivities, instead just buy human-grade pure psyllium powder and give your cat about 1/4 tsp once or twice a day (adjusted appropriately for cat's weight) with plenty of water of course.

Helps with my cat’s constipation.
Game changer. Outstanding product. I sprinkle 1/3 on her wet food. I feed my cat three small meals per day. Fast results. So good that it seems to clean her out completely and she can skip a day or two without pooping after 3 straights of big brown rich log shape poops. Money well spent. Highly recommended. I do add additional wet to all of her meal with 1/8 tps of Miralax, too.
