Beautiful piece, poor packing.

Got this for my husband's birthday (didn't open until then) and unfortunately, the handle was broken when we opened it. I am going to try and repair it since when I bought it there was only 1 left, but it looked like it wasn't packed well enough for its breakable status. The item is beautiful, but the packing was substandard sadly.
