Debit card = On
Read the directions. Check the box for the debit card. You have to insert the debit card to make it work. We opened the box took out the ATM machine and threw the box away. I had to get the box out the trash bag reached in the bottom to find directions and the msgical debit card. One thig I wish was different. If they could add a sticker or on button what if the debit card gets lost! No access to the bank again.

Hilarious "ATM Machine"
Every time this bank says "I am your personal ATM machine" I crack up. My son rolls his eyes when I say "the bank doesn't even know how to say its own name". Haha! It is very simplistic where you enter the amount you are "depositing" on the screen and it keeps track of the total. It does not count the change or bills entered into the slots. The inside is just a cavity and the coins get caught in the hinge of the front door so I've thought of putting a small container under the change slot to catch the coins (which don't even need to go into the slot since the amount is calculated on what is entered onto the screen). My son loves it though so we continue to "deposit" my change in it at the end of each day.

Not what you think! Read before buying! Disappointing!
The media could not be loaded. I hate giving bad reviews, but I have to be honest and tell people what I would've liked to have known before buying this. Here's what I expected vs what it actually is.There is NO pin with debit card. I bought 2, one for my son and one for my daughter, and expected them to be able to secure their atm with a pin - there is no pin, just the card which works with both machines. When you put the card in, you choose withdraw, deposit, or balance. Withdraw or deposit, you manually enter the amount and then press enter. This is a basic calculator function and nothing exciting for kids as the there is no prompt after entering the amount. When depositing, I was hoping that when feeding the money into the machine that it was motorized and would pull it in (like a real ATM machine), it does not, you have to manually turn a cheap plastic knob on the side to pull the money in. Not only is this super boring, but it's time consuming. It gets worse. If you choose withdraw, you have to turn a tiny knob on the bottom flap that has a 2 number combination. Again, this is not secure if you have multiple kids as both machines have the same combination #. The knob is small and vey difficult to turn. Not only that, but the combination is not necessarily easy for a kid to remember - turn the knob clockwise until you hear clicking, stop on 10 and then turn it counterclockwise and stop on 12. This is not only incredibly boring, but very difficult as the knob does not easily turn and you can barely see the numbers. Once you get it open, it's very anticlimactic as there's no sound, just a cheap plastic flap opening to a messy pile of money, coins, etc that you have to sort through and then stuff back in to close. I uploaded a video showing this - depositing cash and withdrawing the money with the combo. Boring, time consuming, and cheapThis is more of a chore than anything else. It doesn't even count the coins... just an open plastic slot where the coins fall through. I obviously assume a lot with this thing without actually diving very deep into its actual features, but I assumed with the higher price point that it would have all features of a cheap one, plus some. It does not. Very disappointing to say the least. There are other machines that resemble a safe on Amazon that work so much better and are actually fun to use. They let the kids set a secure 4 digit pin, has a motorized feeder that pulls in the money, and a large "vault door" with sounds that you can turn after entering the correct pin. You still have to sort through whatever is in their to get what you want, but it's a much larger space that's easy to see without having to pull everything out, but most importantly, IT'S FUN TO USE! This "ATM" is not fun at all. I would absolutely not buy this!!! The safe-looking machine on Amazon costs less and is a million times better

It is a little loud and you can’t turn it down.
Fun way to save money. Grandson is 9 years old. He has his own money. Now he has a place to save it and it’s easy to get out.

Packaging issues
The actual product was fine and I’m happy with it. The problem was it arrived without any protective box or packaging. It was a bit banged up with a huge packing sticker across front of box obstructing the view of item. This was a gift so I’m not real thrilled about its condition

Just as pictured and described
My great-granddaughter loved it. Unfortunately, her little brother wasn't satisfied with his little piggy bank---I had to buy a second one for him. According to their mom, they play with it all the time. Teaches them about money and, hopefully, saving.

Grandson LOVED it!!
My 8yr old grandson likes to save his money. When he opened this gift he started jumbling up and down and yelling YES!! Great quality, very durable. Actually keeps track of what you have in there. He easily added the money. He said it was his favorite gift…

Very disappointed.
Stem product for 5 & up but I found it difficult to use not alone a 5 year old. It wouldn't take my dollar until I tipped it almost on its back & you had to twist a dial (that was very loose) to deposit the dollar bill. The safe like drawer was also hard to operate & little hands would have a very hard time trying to turn it.Unfortunately, what I thought was going to be an awesome gift is such a disappointment. I need the gift for Christmas, so it is too late to return.I don't always pay attention to reviews like this when there a lot of good ones. I wish I had.
