It’s not a scam - people just aren’t doing it right
I didn’t see all the bad reviews until after it was delivered. You HAVE TO STRATIFY these seeds. Here’s what I did: I bought seed starter from Lowe’s and poured some into a large, glass lunch container. I sprinkled the rose seeds over the top and lightly rubbed all around the surface to spread them around. (In hindsight, I should’ve used seed pods to keep them separated but that would've taken up a bit of space in a fridge!) I watered them with spring water, not soaked but just enough to get them damp/moist - and closed the lid. I labeled the container and stuck it in the back of my fridge. I turned the fridge to the coldest setting. I let it sit for about 2 months. I took them out to check on them. It looked the same as when I put it in there. The soil was frozen. I put them back, and turned the fridge setting to “normal.” After another month, I took the container out, removed the lid, and sat them on my porch. I checked on them today and there’s about 30 seedlings growing so far. Hopefully they make it!

No good
I grow a lot of plants and could not even get these to sprout. Tried multiple times, multiple ways. Really disappointed.

Wish me luck!!
I got these knowing they're intermediate to difficult plants to grow. They need to be nursed to maturity before letting them exist as regular plants, and even then need strong attention. I haven't gotten far yet... but I'll try to update. <3(Entry 1 - 8.25.2024)I received them today and placed them in 10x10 grids on a damp paper towel in a plastic bag to be placed in the fridge. They say you're getting 100, I got 260 seeds. 5 stars for value so far!! How many are viable? We'll see... :) they're currently sitting in the crisper drawer of my fridge. <3Update: 3.5.25So most of them sprouted but I did a weird thing when I transfered them from the baggie so most of them died. Somehow I still have 2 alive though. If I had planted them sooner a lot more would have survived definitely so its on me. If I grow these again, I'd definitely buy this listing. Very good value and high amount of sprouts! Now we'll just have to see if the flowers are what I'm expecting.

Scam - roses are almost never grown by seed
I was able to grow these by properly stratifying the seeds and then putting them under a grow light in seed pods. But. These are not roses. I should have researched before buying. It's almost impossible to get your hands on rose seeds - nearly all roses are grown from clippings, not seed.I ran the images from these reviews through a plant identification app and they're all weeds with the name "rose" or "rosa" somewhere in them. I believe what I have growing is considered an invasive species in my state.Don't buy these or any other seed packet proclaiming to be a true rose. It's a scam.

Takes time but they work
So I only planted 20 cause of the reviews and I was scared to waste all the seeds, I put 20 on the fridge and I was just about to abort the mission after 2 months … however I went on a trip and forgot the seeds in the fridge , when I got back home (month 3 finished ) I found this little precious seeds had grown .., so they work 100 % just takes a good 3-4 months for the seeds in the fridge

Not seeds
There were not 100 of anything in this packet. There may have been 20 seeds in the envelope. But none of them are plant seeds/rose seeds. The appear to be sesame seeds. So far nothing growing here.

Doesn’t work w hydroponics
Does not grow in hydroponic. I tried 6 seeds and none of them took. Will try the natural method, but was hoping it would have worked in the other environment.
